if your looking to play indoors definitely go with a 1/36. Though the 1/18's may seem small, they are too big to play in the house.
The VXL esc's do have some problems. Traxxas does help fix/replace their electronics if they go 'out of order' BUT, unfortunately it takes them quite awhile to replace the VXL-3's due to a shortage...
Or... he's rich as heck.
confirmation letters should be and are immediate. Shipping info letters are sent when they actually ship it. I'd freak if I don't get a confirmation letter within an hour of the purchase.
usually no longer than 2 business days to ship items. You might want to contact them though if u did not receive a confirmation letter.
I just sent mine is today. Never thought that stupid solder point would bust, but it did... and it sucks.... and my sidewinder sucks.... at least I have my micro-t to keep me company till then....
that is an awesome website lol. Nitro sounds.... love it
Very nice job mate and the pics are awesome. Sad thing that the body is gonna be wrecked after awhile heh. So is the unfortunate life of an RC body.
I run my losi micro-t when I'm stuck in on rainy days and bad batt days or at night when I'm bored out of my mind.
definitely a strong chassis mod with the addition of that metal plate. Not sure I would do the extension without something to brace it like that. The idea is awesome though and when I get around to...
they should cover it under warranty, and if not, they might charge a small fee to get it fixed or replaced.
nope, that's not the problem either. Like I said, everything I use with the sidewinder, I switched with the VXL and the VXL worked perfectly fine.
I just bought the same exact combo as BHL did and I'm having the same problem and it is not the battery pack because I run the same pack on my VXL and it works fine. For some odd reason the car...
I've never worried about my servo, and I've never had one fail because of it getting wet. As far as the ESC goes, you could always put it in a balloon.
I think a pede would be airborne before it reaches that speed lol. That would be really neat to see though.
^ really? lol i would've never guessed the last run to be the one that killed the car :p jk. That is one messed up break in the back though. Definitely new to me also.
The ends of the pack where water might be able to get into, yea. Not the entire pack. Thanks for clarifying that.
ROFL. While I'm usually bashing, I tell myself "alright mate, it's time to pack it up and go home..." but then I argue with myself and end up staying for another 5 minutes which = into a tree, curb,...
Do it! But don't hold us responsible for the outcome, unless the outcome is good of course (in that case, "you're welcome")
Yea, the bag might melt onto the battery pack which is not too pleasant. You could perhaps try to seal it a little better with electrical tape (which is what I did for my packs when winter hit)
None that I know of, but perhaps if you could find uncut bodies that were meant for some desert trucks you could cut the wheelbase to fit whatever it if you need...
that is one sick looking truck. Didn't think the casters were going to make that dramatic of a difference but wow, very very nice mate
nice job mate. I've only ever used teneegy batts and they have all been decent. You do however get what you pay for hehe.
11v lipo if u want to fry your xl5, if you use a smaller bat I think that would be a pretty good plan.
