    Shock Oil

You could go 60wt or higher cause the spring rate is very high. It doesn't really matter the brand, most usually use LOSI oil or factory team shock oil.

I could very well be wrong
  2. I have a question about the rpm extended a arms

Yeah lol I don't get what he means at all. A arms have almost nothing to do with the drivetrain. They hold the hubs and connect the pushrods to the a arms but that's about it. The RPM a arms are...
  3. I have a question about the rpm extended a arms

Maybe he means when too much torque goes through your drivetrain and it snaps something. Lol not sure same

    summit to brushless

In many peoples opinions the mamba monster 2 on 4s is where it's at, it won't cog and it is super smooth. And no it won't likely affect the diffs, just make sure your slipper clutch is adjusted...
  5. I have a question about the rpm extended a arms

Great I will get some once I totally bust all of my a arms which might not likely happen but yeah. I already half snapped a lower a arm on the right (I think I hit something when I was jumping it).

    Summit or E revo?

Yes you should for sure! The summit with it's locking diffs and two speed low and high transmission and don't put it as a con that it's slow, it is faster by 10mph or so than most crawlers. I am...
  7. Ok thanks so the rpm a arms are a direct drop in?

Ok thanks so the rpm a arms are a direct drop in?
  8. I have a question about the rpm extended a arms

Hi all, I was worried about the "extended" part of the rear RPM a arms and if that means that they are longer than stock or that means that they will fit as a drop in replacement.

    Thanks,
    Spence

    Traxxas Summit Upgrade Questions

If you want a crawler then go tekin rx8 bl, sensored setups are water resistant but not waterproof, I think there are ways to waterproof a sensor cable with liquid electrical tape or silicone. What...

Thanks Jamann, those trencher 40 series will do, love the pickup body I might get a ram 1500 body from pro-line as a future cosmetic upgrade paired with the trenchers on the tech 5 rims.

Canyon at tires keep on ripping help

Thanks Jamann, I will get the tech 5 rims with the 40 series trenchers once my canyon at's are toast. Sounds like the second summit is running a bl system, bl systems especially like the mamba...

Canyon at tires keep on ripping help

So the trenchers mounted on the tech 5 rims from pro line should work on the summit? Most of the stuff that would fit the revo should fit the summit correct? Not all of it but some right? I...

Canyon at tires keep on ripping help

Do the trencher x tires have different width rims? And the regular trenchers would fit the stock rims too right? (Kinda dum question but just making sure). And the "x" in trencher x means extra...

Canyon at tires keep on ripping help

Hi all, I do kind of hardcore like rock crawling over stone walls and stuff and somewhat sharp rocks, the canyon at tires are awesome for traction but just don't hold up very well. I was thinking...

    Is it really worth it?

You would need to get the full combo from traxxas (the vxl-3s and the 3500kv motor too). It's about $189 or so. I got the rustler vxl so I didn't have to upgrade. It is most likely worth it, a 2s...

    MXL6s powered by Nimh feedback

Summitbasher240 is for sure right, NIMHs do not work well with brushless systems at all. The amp draw that a brushless setup requires far outweighs the ability for NIMHs to supply the juice.

  22. Stock Summit Tires Break Down....#1 Reason

I like the trenchers but I think I will go with the first big joes from pro line not to be confused with the big joes II from pro line. The big joes have a big lug type tread that will bite into...

Could be a receiver glitch. I think I should leave this one to the more experienced people. I am stumped sorry man
