How have you spent so little on that rustler?
Most people I know have over 2500 bucks into theirs the first 1-2 years ;)

Looks fast!
I can't wait to get mine installed!
You can get anodizing done for 10-15 bucks at a nice shop.
Make sure the people know what they are doing.
Close to 200..
I also have a .12 CV-RX. It's going in for race season.
I'm going to say, that will kill your motor.
I run 30%, which is the maximum you should run in a model 2 stroke engine.
great!
Very cool! That ramp looks really nice :D
I'm about to install that motor in my rustler for this coming racing season. Tell me how well that motor works in a rustler!
They've been saying that since last summer ;)
They arent all bent up.
They are slightly tweaked from jumping last summer. I land correctly mostly, a few bad jumps will slightly bend the stuff.
I use RD racing arms and shocktower now. just...
I don't have pics of my bent RD stuff. It's fairly tweaked, not too bad.
His stuff is great for non hardcore jumpers, but for me, I can easily bend his stuff.
Remember, it may be strong, but...
polishing big bores is too difficult.
I did it. Took a few hours. You will need a bench grinder with a tight wound buffing wheel.
Start with like white rouge compound.
pro-line velocities = the best
wheelies at will, no. Even a .21 rustler cant do wheelies from a stop.
If you hit a slight bump or something, itll wheelie easily.
I have heard that they don't provide the necessary filtering that a small 2-strike nitro motor needs. So you would get little contaminates inside your motor.
IMO, stick to a filter made for our...
His stuff is good..
But I have had bendng issues. IMO, the arms and towers should be redisigned for more strength. But that's just me.
derr
Hmm. Does traxxas make those?
I keep bending my RD Racing aluminum shocktower.
Does anyone make a strong shocktower?
How is a 15 foot jump so great?
A .21 is a hassle.
Needs constant re greasing of the tranny every half gallon or so.
These gears are spinning at such extremly high speeds that the grease does not stay on for long.
also you...
I have my front and rear setup now for camber rise :o
So my tires stay flat on all turns.
Try to make the rear a-arms level with ground, and front, just a little lower.
Hope this can help at...
The Tranny is more than enough strong stock.
If it can withstand a modified hyper .21 or a .247 it can easily withstand a 2.5 when maintained properly.
Yeah, he just took it down since no one was joining
sclark has had one up for us for half a year I believe.
T-maxx.
When built correctly with the right parts, they can be faster, stronger, and sometimes even lighter than a buggy.
