    why run twin 775 motors? a single 14.4v dewalt motor will be more then enough, produces a mind blowing amount of torque as it is and is reasonably quick as well.plus it runs quite nicely off a stock...

    forget about using the 40w iron any where near the motor, it will have the life sucked out of it.go buy at least a 60 watt for soldering the caps to the can of the dewalt motor.

    you could *probably* get away with it if you used some decent glue like jb weld or the likes and roughen up both surfaces a bit with sand paper or a small wire wheel on a dremmel/rotary tool
