not sure what's wrong but you could try reversing the wires on the receiver to see if you can get it to move using the steering control. also see if you can get the steering to work with the...
now that the 2.4ghz radio and waterproof esc are standard, anything less than that is much less desirable. still $150 sounds reasonable. sell the extras separately if you want to see any money for...
I got a set of the cheap ones from ebay. shipped incredibly fast!! and they work great!
Another thing to keep in mind is that you can get four of the same size rims and they will still mount and be drivable, your rear tires will just have a wider stance than your front. Someone correct...
I coiled the antenna wire around the outside of the tube and kept the tube under the body on one of my old cars! it worked pretty well. ...
not true!!

I'm out too. had to remove rear wall and front side wall to get my lipo batteries to fit!!

Are these any good for the rustler? I noticed for tires and wheels there are some pretty good deals on ebay and have thought about trying them.
good choice! It might seem like a lot of money now but it will be well worth it.
If you are on a budget I would recommend just upgrading the rears as well. or you can always post in the classified section. A lot of people probably have a set they would be willing to part with...
If you could get the fluid just right I think the idea has potential! but I don't think you will have first time success with just corn starch and water.
glad you all like it. To mount the car I drilled a hole in front of and behind each tire so I can loop a releasable zip-tip around the tires. I decided to make the trailer because I had an extra set...
hay guys, I made a trailer for my drift car and figured some of you may like it so here it is.

could it have anything to do with the C rating on the battery? If your lipo is only 20C maybe you should try a 25-30C battery.
If you just cut your springs then your shock will still extend further then your spring and the spring will fall off!
I would do this for speed runs or to lower a car just to snap a picture of a newly painted body but I would never run like this and expect good handling characteristics. If it works for you..great!...
they also make caliper paint for cars that is good for pretty high temps.
the stock shafts are listed as hardened steel on other sites http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJG87&P=Z#tech
but the TiN coated ones could be an even harder hardened steel! I sent...
After a good cleaning and rebuild she should be good as new!! The rustler that is. Some times the missus can take a little more time to fix but it's well worth the time! lol
To replace the clips I get them started by holding the clip with pliers in one hand and holding the shaft in the other. Once they are halfway on I just put the pliers on the shaft and the clip and...
I just want to say, this post makes me laugh! I also want to add that if you do scratch a shock while trying to bend it back to straight, you should always remove the raised metal with some sand...
The problem with re-bending a shock shaft is it's very unlikely you will get it perfectly straight and with even a small amount of bend there will be some binding. I think that if you are going to...
well the TiN shafts are $10 which would be worth the money if they really are a harder hardened steel than the regular hardened steel shafts!! I might have to email Traxxas on this one. lol
Thank...
