11/54 should mesh ok - make sure you haven't got any dirt around the motor mount stopping it from slotting in properly - I've had this problem a few times ;0)
Not yet lol - this time I'm waiting a good few days before shoe goo strengthening - ruined last shell applying it too early
The DSLR is a Canon EOS 600D but these photos were on my iPhone 3GS - the canon can do full HD recording and she got me a 32GB SD card too - enough for 4000+ 18MP photos!
The cutter is a craft robo silhouette (around £250) basically comes with very versatile software enabling any design to be cut from sheet vinyl using a tiny blade (only cuts the vinyl and leaves...
This is as close to the actual colour I can get:

Yeah, she did - I was surprised - it's come out more orange in the pictures - its actually day-glo pink! - I was desperate to do the Toyota desert truck theme - it really pops in this colour lol -...
She got me a craft cutter and a Tundra Shell for my 40th (as well as a DSLR) here's seeing what it can do - unfortunately the vinyl left a little black glue in places but got some clear glued stuff...

If you mainly bash you want flexibility - so go rpm - aluminium will bend and not bounce back. I can see the benefits of aluminium for racing but sounds like you mainly bash so you want the...
Few MPH, that's all, but the torque is amazing. With the stock motor you can't really gear it much higher because it WILL overheat, with the better motor you can gear higher - that's what gives you...
Rckid - you need to tell them which batts you've got - as we are already discussing this on your thread - I can tell them that you are running 25C 5800mAh 2S, an as I said on your thread they will...
Mmmmm difference between sensor ed and sensor less - I'm not entirely sure - sensored use a feedback from motor to esc to improve timing, I believe, and makes the motor much smoother at low speeds -...
I've had ultimate slash 4x4 for a couple of years (same spec as platinum) I have young kids so lots of crashes - I've NEVER damaged a big ore shock or broken any aluminium part from the ultimate...
Possibly one of the castles - but needs to be sensor less - In the uk castle is just too expensive - a 3800 motor costs as much as two complete WP-SC8 and tenshock 3400 sc systems - all other decent...
No, the esc is perfect but the motor has a high amp draw - Cruseys measured it at around 140A peaks if I remember correctly. I use my old 2S 4000mAh 25C and they are holding up well, but 3s is a 40C...
It is great value and an all round excellent esc (sensor less motors only tho) never regretted buying mine - not heard of any problems at all with them yet ;0)
Ok, so you bought the 1:16 - time to ask questions in the 1:16 section now - they are completely different set up - you'll get much more useful advice there - see you back here when you decide to go...
I do, on Cruseys advice and it's great, reliable, VERY powerful, good on 2s/3s and waterproof - by far best bang for buck - cost me less than £85 (around $100-110 depending on ex.rates) need to make...
Just my 5c - the guys above have highlighted most of your problems are suspension related - I agree - I found the quickest starting point is to read sladens set up above - without changing springs...
Way too low power on kershaw, sidewinder quiet underpowered - if you want a cheap, powerful (120-720A) waterproof esc - go for the Hobbywing WP-SC8 - is good for upto 3s, will handle most motors...
It's a long time ago but look up the "Low Maintenance Thread" - (look toward end fir pics as photobucket account messed up) - I've been running mine for over a year with only a stiff brush brush down...
I'd buy a roller, assuming you have a radio/reciever, shove a good esc & motor ($100 -> whatever) hobbywing WP-SC8 and tenshock 3500kV SC 401 is a good fast reliable cheap waterproof system, spend a...
Hobbywing WP SC8 + Tenshock SC401 3500kV works a dream on 2&3S - very reliable, very cool, very cheap
I like to run the esc cool so have to agree about MMP, a lower cost (and from all reports and my own experience) WATERPROOF alternative is the Hobbywing WP-SC8 - I've yet to get it above 90F and it...
