Hey man, the only thing that makes me think something is up is that if I take out the motor and do not adjust at all, I can run on a different chassis. Does that make any sense?

Hey man, the only thing that makes me think something is up is that if I take out the motor and do not adjust at all, I can run on a different chassis. Does that make any sense?
I am running 50wt and RC dual rate with big bores and LOVE THEM.
Highly reccomen the spur gear... I wasted many a good days cause I didn't have that one small part!!
Bashed my 3.3, was awesome and it is running like a dream now. 2.5 still having some tranny related issues... but we will get there!!!
Update: just reassembled everything and tried again, still same issue. I am getting a high whinning noise, and to motor gear is trying to tear up the spur gear. Any ideas??
Hey guys, got everything up and running, made it through 3 tanks with 2.5 and then came across issue with tranny. (I think) It seems to be stuck in neutral? Spur/Slipper are brand new, driveline...
Snook: always a giant help!! I will give it a shot. Thanks again
So I got my new 3.3 ready to go, and EZ start was giving me trouble, wouldn't turn. (all parts are brand new for scracth build I did) Battery was charged, all was good to go. I ended up putting pull...
Thanks guys... will try cleaning first. I know the one built from scratch has a new one, and I ALMOST positive I installed the right way. Back to wrenching... thanks!
Nice weather in Upstate NY, finally temps are up to run the TMaxx. Went to fire it up, and the starter doesn't seem to be engaging the drive shaft. It had worked when I rebuild a few months ago, but...
Hey guys...ended up with a sweet used 3903 from eBay. Can't wait.... take some time to rebuild the 2.5 & 3.3 TMaxx over the winter, and stil get to bash with the EMaxx. CAN'T WAIT!!!
This is the coolest thing I think I have ever seen... awesome man, thank you for sharing that with everyone.
Thanks for info!! Gonna try to pick up a used 3903 on eBay
For sure....sounds like what I was trying to do, but honestly the Integy didn't fit so well...same mounting positions, was getting A TON of rub. Just not happy with them and haven't even ran the...
So sweet...just had a post about bad weather and Maxx's.. gonna get me an EMaxx to add to fleet.
Yea thats the one I am looking at, 3903. If I didn't have 2 nitro already I may spring for brushless 3908, but really think the 3903 would be best for me. Any reccommendations on batteries? THANKS!!
Sweet dude....looks like going rate for entire set up right now, new in package, is about $60.
Yep, don't see any reason why they wouldn't fit right on there then. Think I am gonna order me a set, and try to get some cash for these Integy on ebay!! Sweet, thanks for all the good knowledge!
So I run nitro and love it, but winters and spring here in Upstate NY can take away at least half my year to run my TMaxx. Looking to also get an EMaxx for those days I can't pull out nitro. Any...
Yea, seems to be the way I should have gone! Can I ask this, are the big bore springs the same size as the stock Maxx springs? Because I bought the RC Raven a few years ago and would LOVE to slap...
Thanks guys. Really wish I had done more research on those things. With the Traxxas big bore, can you just slap them on like they were stock, or do you have to put on outside the normal A-arm...
WOW... had no idea Integy were so unfavorable. Should have done more research before I bought them! Just like I prob should have bought a 3.3 to save money.. ha ha... but not as fun. I will try...
Coming to my favorite place for advice and support!!
I am just about done with 3.3 rebuild. (looking so sweet!!!!) Wanted to throw Integy MSR8 piggyback shocks on there, but ran into an issue with...
Yea, thats what I have aways done... used the gow ignitor and wrap the blue wire. EZ start is awesome, there again so is the pull start.
Thanks wildman. After your repsonse, I found a pic that basically answered my question, all servo's are backwards from what I am use to. Still can't figure out where to hook the return spring to...
