I haven't done it but it will go 80+mph on 4s geared 25-26/50
Mines geared 20/54 on 3s 5200mah 25c w/ 1/8 buggy wheels/tires and its doing about 50mph and it just get warm. Motor temps around 125F...
from my experiences 2wd is not that good of an idea, mine was real squirrly but if you want to do it take off/out the front driveshafts, front diff, center driveshaft and put 3,000wt.-10,000wt. in...
I met a guy that does lexan molds and he told me that he can do almost anything. He also told me that lexan has a stronger tensile strength plexi glass. I thought about getting custom stuff made and...
if it is the mip's rubbing an axle carrier then grab a round file and file the spots that rub. that's what i did and it worked beautifully
it could also be a dirty/blown bearing
I run mine right at around 50mph but I'm not interested in doing speed runs. I just keep everything running warm.
I don't know about the quality but these are the ones I was looking at before I did the jato mod

it might be the extra weight of the wheels i stretched 2.8 trenchers on 3.2 maximizers and the wheel/tires alone weigh 1 1/2lbs which made the total weight 7.504lbs. if it continues i would check...
glad to here you got them together and hopefully they work out for you
you will need jato camber and steering links. you can use the stock axles but they will twist faster then normal i would recommend (2) MIP 2wd CVD's W/ one set of front 4x4 axles. this is the thread...
I was looking into getting those a while back but didn't because I couldn't find any reviews about them and I heard they have fitment issues on more then one part. hopefully they fixed that issue.

A buddy of mine got an EXI servo from hobbypartz.com. He's had it for almost a year and it's still going strong.
They are never in stock but if it ever comes in I would snag one up before their...
i used a novak capacitor plugged into my rx and it worked fine - $12

I'd also get RPM shock towers. ST Racing Concepts (STRC) makes some good quality aluminum parts. Integy will be one of the cheapest but stay away from that company they make horrible quality...
wrong forum you'll have better luck in the track/buddy locator forum
I'm geared 20/54 on 3s and 1/8 buggy wheels/tires and my mmp 2400 barely gets warm. I moved my esc to the front of the truck (outstanding airflow). I haven't run it since it got warm outside...
they also have a facebook page
Norway looks like a BEAUTIFUL place. Definitely got added to my "Places to Visit Before I Die" list.
Don't feel bad mine went in 4 days. Sent it in 3 times over 3 weeks for nothing. I sent in my esc, they sent me a new one. Got it, put it in and nothing, still cogged. I called Traxxas and they heard...
It might be a loose component in the ESC. I had that happen to my MMP ESC. Call Traxxas and see what they say.
Lookin' good man. I like it. Can't wait to see all put together.
According to that 2nd pic your rear bulkhead is not sitting right. You might want to check that out. It could let dirt in.

I've had mine for about 6 months broke one axle but that was a freak accident. Other then that nothing has gone wrong.
I've been using Dynamite Triple Threats. They've been doing awesome on grass and dirt. They're holding up pretty well on the street too. Less then $40 for all 4 mounted at the LHS.
