I don't know if the link above works or not but this is a guy on eBay who I bought my first set of chains from. At first I thought I would build my own and save some money.....haha, got my eyes...
Choosing a colour can prove difficult. Do what I did......I bought a white one and then bought the different color body and wheels from eBay. So now I can be a yellow, blue, red, white........you get...

Snow version. It's nice to have the color choice. I have a new set of blue gear as well.
I was assuming that the brushes should be removed to solder the wires (connectors) on?
Markman......you build a sweet body and cage. Although I am partial to Ford......it makes no difference when you have that custom cage over it. Do you need to have a MIG welder to build one???

Going to switch from white to yellow Summit for snow operations. Figure it will be easier to see than white on white.plus my chains can stay perm. Mounted on my yellow tires....
Well the day finally arrived. My DeWalt motors have arrived. I will be doing some more research about these. I am not sure how the brushes come out. I have seen lots of pics of them out but how do...
Good feedback to hear. As I challenge the truck more and more, the steering is for sure the weak link.
You said your Summit was dirty, this is what happened on Sunday afternoon....
Hmmmmm....I shoulda got yellow
Well they look great. My only concern would be if you have enough cross chain to get the traction you want. I wasn't too concerned about the weight and did 9 cross chains.
I got into this chain...
Thanks Gents. Way better than what I have. Just ordered a couple of them on eBay. Cheers.
The real X factor on this wheelie deal is if the Titan 775 gradually loses power??? I am assuming it does. I have a few spare new Titans, maybe I should plug a new one in?
Being my first go at building chains, I kept them on the large side. As a result, I think I will be using zap straps along with the chains to hold them tight and as you say, serve as a bit of a...
Noob question.....I am running an LVA on my BEC side with my 2s Dynamite 9000 LiPos. The LVA that my LHS has are really cheap and not very good at all. I was looking at the one above in this post...
Was a little bored today with the weather not being that great. So I bought half a spool of Jack chain and decided to make snow chains myself for all the RC trucks. All you need is a pair of side...
Things may not be as bad as I thought. I adjusted the rear diff. Servo slightly and the humming and erratic movement has gone away. Perhaps nothing more than bad timing. Seems fine now.
Hmmm, not that it's a big deal to me but I can't wheelie either with 2s and stock Titan 775. I have lots of punch and really can notice a difference with the lipo's but no way of pulling a wheelie.

Gus......we both must be getting old cus I think the Summit in hi gear is fast as well......... all things considered. I must Admit though, I spend 90% in lo range.
So I have been going out each night after dinner with one of my boys. I finally broke my first part. Rear right hand side axle pin sheared off clean. No idea what I hit in the sand but it did a good...
A little wobble isn't a big deal. I have wobble but truck runs great stomping over everything that I don't want to mess with it.
Was running on my Dynamite 9000 mah LiPos tonight and must have fried my LVA. The little blue light does not light up and it was making a ticking noise from the alarm horn. No big deal.....I will...
It seems overwhelming at first. Stick around here and you will learn a ton of stuff. If you haven't read the manual yet do it. The first time you read it some things may not make sense or seem clear....
I am a 45 year old man with three boys and a three car garage full of RC trucks, cars, helicopters and planes. One day the neighbor lady came over (cuz I am sure we driver her nuts) and said "hmmm, I...
