Fronts all around.
Amazon usually has good prices too. I'd get an rpm slash front bumper as a first thing. Especially if you make a habit of running into those ail boxes.
Tapatalk is available on the iPad. There's a free and a paid version.
I heard that it's a good option to paint your springs as well. One of the only things you can paint on the truck.
I agree with rat above. If you can spring for the vxl pede, do it. I've spent way more on my xl-5 pede bringing it up to vxl specs than if I had just bought the vxl outright. It's a much better deal.
Absoloot did a great thread on alignment.
The castle sidewinder 3 and 4600kv is awesome and it's only $110. I don't think there's too much you can do with only 40 each. Especially to compete with the vxl.
I 2nd tonys screws. They've been great. And come with extras.
Very cool. iMovie works great now. I'd recommend it.
So, I received some new desperados and trenchers for Christmas. In preparation for gluing, I've poked the holes in the desperados for ventilation and have also punched holes in the tires. I've been...
I asked myself the same question since I got some trenchers for Christmas. Most people on the discussion I found recommended losi thin tire glue. Hopefully it turns out good.
Velcro works too.
I used some good Velcro. Works great.
Those look really slick. Also, is it just me or are the front talons on backwards? I wish I had gotten one of these as a kid!
You could always buy the traxxas xl-5 esc. It has a 50% power training mode and can be had for fairly cheap on eBay. The better route would probably be a castle sidewinder 3 if you want more custom...
I haven't tried integy parts, but as far as the caster blocks go, just shop around for some better deals. Amazon has STRC and traxxas alum caster blocks for $16-$18. That's a lot better than 35. And...
Try tonys screws. Excellent stuff and it's only about 26 or so with shipping for a complete set.
Is there a good tutorial or example of the best way to lower the body?
Yeah. I think I had this issue and it needs to be calibrated. Can't remember the steps though.
Swami bar. It's really well built.
Thanks for the comments. Is there a major difference between the components of the brushed slash vs the vxl other than the motor and esc? I know the stampede comes with bushings and plastic camber...
I'm looking at buying a used slash locally and would like your opinion on whether its a good deal or not. Here is the local listing. He said he is willing to sell for $125.
My advice is to get the vxl. It may look more expensive now, but you will spend more getting the model you show here up to spec than just buying the vxl outright. It comes with the brushless velineon...
Yeah, it wouldn't be regular skate park bashing. Just on the random occasion.
