Thanks for the advice all. In the past I have always been a wait for something to break kind of guy. The truck looks tough. It already has RPM a-arms all around. I'm putting a Sidewinder Sct in...
I was just looking at the trenchers, they look nice.
The truck I got ia not PE. As soon as the screws get here, I'll take it apart and get a good look at everything. What should I look to...
That is a very nice job you did there. Sweet and simple. The lines look nice and clean too. I think it looks really nice!
I finally purchased a Slash 4x4. I'll add some pics later. I ordered a Desert Rat body and a set of Tony's Screws.
I want to get some tires. What are a good combo street/off-road tire. Are...
Im wondering if I should just order a new one and save 45$ from Tower. It would be 390 shipped. Ant thoughts?
I know that. Im biddign on one now w/BB's all around and RPM arms. Plus some other upgrades. But it has a motor/esc(VXL)
Not gonna pay too much though. Even though I really want it, Im gonna...
That turned out very nice. Great work and good luck at the track!
I can't find any posts I made that show the liquid mask. But you basically just paint it on. Then draw your design on the outside of your body. Then use an exacto knife to trace the design into...
Liquid mask is like a liquid rubber that you paint on the inside of the body before you paint. Then you can cut and peel it where you want to paint. Seals much better than masking tape. Ill see...
Still looking.
Im trying to decide still if the PE is the way to go. Or if I should get a roller. Should I go new or used.
decisions, decisions, decisions.
Hey, nice work. I'm wondering if you used liquid mask or not on the body? The stuff works really well.
If you want to practice with your AB, use a clear 2 liter pop bottle. They work really...
I was looking at getting the Traxxas radio. They are very affordable via Ebay.
So, a aluminum motor mount. MIP X-Duty axles, and a center dif. Are these considered to be needed? I have a...
Hey all,
My son has convinced me to get back into RC. He begged me to get my Rustler up and running again. After spending some time trying to find a new motor/esc for it, I decided to buy a...
Looks nice!
Hey All!
I havn't been around for awhile. Like 2 years lol. A lot is going on in the Traxxas world. Summit was just being talked about when I was on last. Im still living in Coon Rapids. I've...
I say if its in a box under your bed, leave it there. Maybe for Christmas or your birthday, your parents will let you upgrade something.
Good luck. You wont get near what you paid for it if you...
Hey Tat, Long time man!
Nope, no trimming at all.

This is an extended pede. But on most body's you drill your own mount holes. So where they go is up to you.
You really only need to cut off the body posts, trim them down and screw them back on through the bottom. Ill see if I can find some pics.
What, KSB made a mistake? I highly doubt that. :D
It's all a matter of opinion. I think both look OK.
That's pretty cool. I know I love my Pede!
The rear shock towers are the same. The body posts are added to the Pede.
I think you would be able to fit it with the stock mounts. You would most likely have to cut off the body posts, shorten them, and move the front ones inward a little.
I'm the guy who painted the...
Well, I would say the best reason is the 45 minutes of run time you're going to get from that pack. Plus the added punch it has over nimh.
I also have the Onyx 230, but I use an LBA10 balancer. ...
