Thanks jamann, I was curious too. I thought this was going to be about the diff slop (which I'm getting tired of). So, if I understand this correctly, as I have the MIP setup, I'd have to get the...
Yes it is. It's not a toggle though. Push down once for next postion and then again for third. Push the opposite direction twice to get back to first position. But remember, you're moving two servos...
I use the 500k in the center diff on my Slash. I had to use a popsicle stick to scoop it out of the bottle. DO NOT GET IT ON YOUR HANDS. Or anything else for that matter. Anyway, I don't think it's...
Been running my Summit, Slash 4x4 and 2wd, MERV and Rally with it for a couple months. I love it.
Remember, to run it with your Summit, ensure you get a receiver with enough channels for all the...
Runnig Jaco's (foam) on mine and love them so far. Harder compound so they're not wearing too fast....
Hey guys. Thought I'd chime in and share mine. The wife got me the STRC setup for xmas and I've been tweaking it a little. I just got it up and running in the last week due to some motor issues, but...
oops. tired, can't read.
It's just the shaft itself I think I need. Thanks M.O., I wasn't sure of the measurements for the replacements and kept thinking that was the drive shaft.
Haven't picked up the MERV in awhile and...
I bent one of my axles from the TRA7151X set. It still runs, but kind of throws things off balance. Does anyone know if I can replace just one? Or do I have to buy the whole set again? The only ones...
I thought foam was best for carpet running, not the slick surface he's talking about?
I'll verify again, but I'm almost positive it does it outside the truck as well.
I'm having pretty good results from the 3900kv setup from Horizon on my 2x4 Slash. I may do that, but with the 2wd, I think I may sway towards a decent speed setup.
So.... I've done the STRC LCG conversion. With the last snow, I tried to have fun with a pair of skis.... But, I think my Traxas 3500 motor is toast. I'm slowly moving all my stuff to work with my...
X2 on this. The cost is worth it for the HR cases and they pay for themselves as many times as I had to rebuild my diffs before I got them. HR, shim and forget. Only reason I've had to redo mine now...
Anyone tried these yet? Looks like they're body mount instead of chasis. Was wondering if anyone has made the attempt and what the mounting options were. My stock ones are pretty chewed up from...
What do you mean by an inch out of the center? (sorry if it's a stupid question, only one cup of coffee so far this morning and I may not be grasping the obvious yet)
Hot Racing has some really good stuff. Have their diff covers on my 1/16th stuff (MERV and Rally) because they line up with little to no shimming. Have had good luck with their c-hubs on my slash as...
If I'm correct, the traxxas part allows the two diff servos to operate independantly when a y-harness will not. It also has an extra lead for lighting.
You're right. Even using the BND slot for lights, I still only have one ch left for both diff lock servos. Ordered the part last night. Man, is it hard to find. Had to go eBay.
That's interesting. I wonder why I've never seen that before. I'll have to wire it up and do some testing as the DX4S is capable of a 3 position setting.....but still learning its capabilities.
Excellent. Thank you!
Let's see if I can do this without it being classified as support for non-Traxxas stuff.....
Bought myself the Spektrum DX4S for my birthday last week with with the intent of using the 4ch...
Hey guys,
I'm currently working on a LCG STRC Slash 2wd complete build. It requires the Rustler chasis and a few other odds and ends. I looked but can't find a specific reference and was wondering...
Nice. Thank you.
Looks like it just may be easier for me to bring mine back and swap it for the 5086. The arm with mine is way too small a diameter hole for the standard screws on my linkage.(same...
