Good to know, thanks!
I want to change the tires on my Rally VXL because the stock ones are too slippery on the parking lots I use.
I've read all I could find here on wheel/tire combos and narrowed my list down to...
I've got (2) 2s 5000 35C batteries, same brand, same model. One of them is 25% thicker than the other one. I'm pretty sure this qualifies as puffed!
The battery charges fine and the cells are...
According to the HK website, the ******** 6000 3s is 172mm (length). I'm surprised that they fit?
I thought storage mode was only required when you're not going to use the batteries for a long time (>2 months), not true?
So are you charging them right before you're going to use them?
What tie rods? Those are Tekno sway bars.
We can now move away from the theoretical argument and confirm the statement "overfilling IS possible".
Took the ERBE out for a spin on Monday and within a few minutes I noticed that something was...
Pave: back to P2s for me. I switched back to the P2 setup(again). Not fun with the sway bars, but I think I can do it in my sleep now!
Randy: I thought I had gotten the air out, but I took them...
Thanks for all of the replies.
<<The progressive rockers.......This is a much more desirable setup for jumping and bashing as it tends to resist bottoming more than the LT setup. >>
I just checked the pillow balls, but that wasn't it. Also, I had only tightened one of them, and that was after discovering the sag issue.
Short story long:
My 2.5 years-old ERBE was setup with LT rockers/shocks, using provided LT springs. All was stock except for wheels/tires and Tekno sway bars. Never even disassembled shocks. All...
Maybe I'm missing something here, but I thought that going to a bigger pinion (spur unchanged) puts more pressure on the engine not less? Do I have it backwards?
You're going from 18/54 (3.0) to...
Thanks for the reply, Bob. I assumed there would be some kind of regular maintenance as in greasing this or that?
Does anyone have a good/detailed list of regular maintenance that should be done on the ERBE? I can't find anything on the Traxxas site.
Also, it looks like Traxxas only sells 30wt shock oil....
Very nice! Now let's see if you can keep it this clean:)
Thanks for the center diff/rear brake kit photos. They were very helpful when I was converting mine a few days ago. The photos in the instructions (print or PDF) are absolutely awful, and I don't...
If I'm not mistaken, these are not compatible with the Traxxas long-travel rockers.
What is the main complaint RE: EZ-Start?
- That it doesn't last? If so, what breaks?
- Carrying the battery/wand around?
- The way it eats batteries?
BTW, I have the gray grease coming out of...
Why would you NOT want to install the CD? What is the performance disadvantage?
Also, aren't all of the gears removed during FOC made of nylon? Where is the weight savings coming from?
I should have been more clear. How does the braking performance of a stock Revo compare with that of one with the CD and rear brake kit?
Is the rear brake kit a plus or a minus?
I have connection issues with my EZ-Start/Revo. Sometimes both lights will come on but the starter motor won't until I move the wand around. Is this common?
I also have grease coming out from...
- I bought a new Revo 3,3 a few weeks ago.
- Despite following instructions, it wouldn't start. Took it to my LHS and the guy there adjusted it until it would.
- It stalled a lot...
Thanks for the car stand dimensions.
Hi Revo18, I have the issue with the truck flipping over easily; I assume it's just the high center of gravity. Not sure how much part# 5333R would help, by widening the wheelbase.
