i would say either the TM323 or the Wasp .21, IMHO the 3.3 isn't that good
i had this problem after rebuilding my tranny (i blew the primary output gears courtesy of my TM323) but there was no solution other than to have the tranny case loosely done up so i decided to do it...
The 323 is a direct drop for the 2.5R and its an absolute animal (no pun intended). it reallys loosens up after about tank 10 and you get a noticeable power boost. the acceleration is amazing and the...
i personally have an RB (with stock pipe) but have driven both (the pico had the trinity pipe on it). the RB has more torque and therefore acceleration and wheelie popin' ability but it is lacking...
i've got the RB TM323 and i can confirm it has stupid amounts of torque throughtout the range and accelerates like a bat out of that place below but i can't say i have really noticed a lack of toop...
if your going to be jumping and backflips and stuff i would reckomend some aluminium shock shft ends (or buy some spares) cause they have a tendeny to fail if you land at a funny angle
oh dear, i think i've just wet myself.....those are beautiful engines (the O.S. and the C6)...actually i had a quick drool over the OS when i was in my LHS it looks awsome and i was surprised by how...
The 323 turns the REVO into a driving god, its epic. the amount of low end torque you get is insane. it is a breeze to start every time and restart even if you run the tank dry just re-prime and it...
i've found all the TRX engines that i've encountered to be really annoying to tune (pro .15, TRX 2.5 and 2.5R....though i will say the 2.5 was easier than the 2.5R or pro .15 to tune)....as for the...
are you ditching your 323 for the TRX 3.3....tell us how you get on i wanna know how they compare (though i doubt i would swap my 323 for the 3.3 cause i the traxxas engines have always been a pig to...
what he means is traxxas telephone support line / customer services....we the people of this forum may be good but there are certain things we can't do.
i would however surmise that the connecting...
i would say get the teckno wing mount, its awsome, its strong (survivied a front flip while braking (don't ask) onto it), its easy to fit. the only down side i would say is that as other have said it...
wow, i guess i'm kinda sorry your RB has given you so much grief but mines going fine and has given me hours of fun and free parts (long story involving owner of my LHS).....fair enough i have had a...
that is awsome, though it does seem to be a bit of a waste of money. i guess if anything it shows how string REVO's are.
also i hope to be doing something like this with a friend of mine whos got...
well the biggest problem your going to have is that this here is the traxxas forums (as i'm sure you know) and more specifically its the REVO one so opinions are generally gogin to be a bit biased.
...
i can see what you mean about setting it to the 2nd gear final drive ratio.
and also your right if it was possible to measure the RPM after the transmission then do the roll out procedure based on...
but it would be epic fun to drive, 8HP!
one piece of advice if it is the big black gears (main output gears) be very carefull about which one goes where and even if it isn't still be carefull...by this i mean make sure you put the forwards...
ok....the lowdown is i'm about to get a spektrum DX-3 and telemerty kit although reading the online maunal for the telemetry kit i have found one problem when you configure the handheld telemetry...
the temp should only climb a tiny bit becuse when the ambient warms up you'll also have to adjust the mixture to compensate for air density....although if anything it'll run cooler when the abuent...
should be fine with the pico though i'd e careful in reverse cause it won't last long with that much power
well with that in mind what mounts and wings are people using...i know the mugen wing is a popular choice but what mounts are any good?
when you say big block how big do you mean....i've got the RB TM323 in mine and the tranny in general is fine but if i'm not careful it chews primary reverse gears like they're going out of fashion
i second that your REVO would own a stock 3.3 and besides as GoinBroke said it'd cost very little to buy the new chassis, 3.3 and centre diff and rear brake
well you need fuel, fuel bottle, 7.2v packs for the easy starter and thats about all you need but i would get some after run oil as well and a couple of spare glow plugs (especially during break in).
