There is only one way, and that involves removing the top head, and removing the EZ start/backplate to disengage the rod from the shaft so you can pull it out from the top.

Yeh don't use the k&n. Stock airfilter is pretty good. But today i crashed my jato and broke the air filter, now i got motor saver airfilter, its good.

Nah...it becomes 3 speed.

1st speed is already engaged.
2nd speed engages at around 30mph from inside the jato tranny box.
3rd speed engages at around 55mph from outer 2-speed gearbox.
