Depends on what your definition of "rustler" is.
No. You do not need the end bars.
The lipo battery will be a little less weight, resulting in better handling. The lipo will run strong all the way to the cutoff, whereas the 7 cell battery will lose some steam toward the end of a...
I have a broken tie bar that I havent replaced yet. Occasionaly this ebay seller has them.

I dont think that front wheel will work on the electric rusty/bandit without some modification. That wheel you linked to, is a nitro front.
The stock shafts work better than the shiny mips for me. I got 1 run out of the right mip shaft and a couple more for the left one. Unless they have changed something in the design, I wouldnt buy...
You really cant get the shocks much stiffer than what they are now. 3 of the big spacers and 100wt oil? Get a taller tire, longer shocks or a bigger truck.
It does now.

Who goes slow with a brushless and 3s lipo setup?
I think that is common with a sensored motor though.
I had the same problem. MIP CVD's didnt work. Lasted a couple runs.
I loosened up the slipper and went with a smaller and lighter tire. Dirthawgs instead of Mashers. That seems to have helped a lot.
I havent used them but if you are thinking about trying them, I would make sure you can get replacement parts and repair kits for them.
If you click the status button while charging/balancing, it will show the voltage per cell.
Does your transmitter have a big metal antenna on it? I wouldnt hold it in a storm either.:D
My guess would be a broken wheel at the hex or you are missing a bearing.
What battery do you plan to use? If you ever plan to use a 3s lipo, get the SW/4600.
Have you ever tried one? My son has a 7-cell Ener-G 4600 matched racing pack by SPC. It wont keep up with my 3s lipo but I would put it up against any 2s lipo.
Contrary to what was posted earlier. The Crowd Peazer 2.0 for the Jato will NOT work without some modification, especially if you are using the RPM bumper. Its too long and hits the bumper. You could...
Um, actually the sidewinder/5700 can handle 8 cell NIMH and if you had 4600 motor it would be good for 12 cell NIMH.
I would spend the extra $10 and get this charger. It will charge at 5.0 amps and the one you linked is 2.0 amps. I would also choose one of the ***** lipos over the *******.
...
I wonder how it would work if you tried the string on the inside of the tire? Maybe flip the tire inside out, wrap the line around a few times and add a liberal amount of ca. Almost like paper mache....
Just to update. The Sidewinder worked fine on NIMH's for a couple weeks after the first puff of smoke. Plugged it into a 3S Lipo and that finished it off. Luckily I found a used MM on craigslist for...
This sidewinder on a 3 cell lipo should only be used with the 4600, not the 5700. As far as the cut off setting, I would set it at 9v. The auto lipo mode is for changing between between 2 cell and 3...
Im not familiar with that. I think it was intented for a nitro engine. You would have to zip tie it to your motor. Im gueesing it would get damaged fairly easily.
They dont sit on the vehicle. You hold it in your hand and point it at the motor.

I know the SPC 11.1v 5000mah is a direct feed. No mod needed.
