I used carpet tape on mine, still holding strong after 6 months
Like the good doctor said.....it does add a LITTLE bit, hardly enough to notice, think I've had to replace 3 drive axel's total between both my p2de and p4de over the last year or so of running them....
Here's my wife's Mutt

They've seen a lot of abuse on my trucks without any problems
I have the 25mm ones on my p2de and p4de, I'm pretty happy with them, combined with the protract kit it makes it really stable. Just make sure you use thread lock when you put the wheels on, the...
Getting the center diff helps with the wheelies, as for the rolling, do whatever you can to lower your center of gravity.
Well, since I don't have a lhs for 50 miles around me, I stick to ebay......
I'm going to have to go there on my days off !!!!!
You can lower the body easily by using a front body mount from a rustler and dropping the rear body posts LOW
Pretty much just use a small screwdriver to gently pry it up
Sounds to me like you'd want a 2S Lipo, something around 5000mah with at least a 25C rating. Something like this http://spcracing.com/index.php?productID=125
As stated above, make sure your tip is clean, make sure your iron is at max temp before applying to the solder joint, and as you're heating it, gently roll the iron from side to side. You could also...

You could try something like this:

Well, if you take the whole transmition out of the car, then take all the other screws out and you should be able to pop the case open then extract the broken screw.
......well, what's in it now ? If it's a stock brushed, go brushless, if it's already brushless, get a bigger brushless
OK.....the Velineon 380 is the stock size, and just happens to be a 380 size can (motor diameter). The Velineon 3500 is the stock for a 1/10th brushless, and is a 540 can, which is actually the same...
No. The Neu motor shaft is longer than the stock one and won't fit without cutting a bit off, so you'll need to trim the Neu shaft length so it roughly matches the stock length.
I'm running RPM Claws (wide crawler offset) with HPI yokohama geolanders and I hardly have any traction roll. Then again, I'm also not running a BB, I just got a better ESC and motor combo.
well, that's one way......or instead of adding weight down low to drop the center of gravity, you could go wider in the wheel base with some extenders.......just a thought
I used a 3/8 split point drill bit on my RPM Claws to thin them down enough to fit on my merv. The split point fits in the axle hole perfect without making the hole larger in diameter while helping...
Running 2 of the stock Nihm batteries in parallel would give you a longer run time than just 1 2200 lipo
Finally got around to painting my bug body, plus put on a new set of Trencher's

That's gunna be a serious torque monster.......like sticking a emaxx motor in a pede
I got mine from the unmentionable place overseas on here. Shipping really doesn't take that long, I ordered parts recently and it took like a week and a half to get here, not bad considering.
