First off i dont recommend trying to move your servos by hand, its kinda rough on the gears and it sounds like you are stripping them by trying to move them.... second off u got it wet so the...
If u break an RPM rim i heard that if u send it back that they will send u a new one....do u just send it back to RPM's adress??? I just wanted to get some help on this bc i have no money to buy a...
If you dont jump, you arent having fun
If you dont break stuff, you arent having fun
As much as i hate breaking parts and spending money on stuff that i could be using for upgrades, sometimes u...
RPM rims are the way to go, the stock rims suck...chrome chips off and edges break off real easy. I have RPM's and i like em but i broke one jumping some snowbanks in my driveway, but i have heard...
why stay away from the 2.5? its a great engine, i love mine
i cut the whole front windsheild out of my body...works great and doesnt look as tacky as just a hole in one side of the windsheild
the 2.5 is great! tons of power (wheelies burnouts and donuts) and is easy to tune once you get to kno it, i love mine, what other .15 engine do u kno of that has this much torque and power
What i did to winterize my rusty was got a tube of silicone($2-$3) and took my servos apart and sealed both the top and bottom plate and around where the wires come into it, then ballon your receiver...
the sock wheels def arent up to par.....chipping chrome and the outer lip breaks off real easy, messed mine up in less than a week of having my 2.5 rusty, i got some RPMs and broke the hub jumping...
i have heard that pro-line sandpaws are decent in the snow... or u can take some screws and put them into an old pair of tires.
sorry bro but i tried tellin ya while ago that this idea wasnt too good, you will either mess up your rusty or lose it...do u really want that dude?
are you kidding me...u might be able to seal the receiver and whatnot but u will never be able to completly seal the servos...that is where the gear sticks out and connects to the servo horns for the...
check into a company callled fantom....they are supposed to have some good pipes from what i have read....reasonable price too:D
I am running Byrons original race fuel with 20% nitro and 12% lubrication....plent of power...only 20 bucks a gallon also.
From my experiences with my nitro rusty i have broken some suspension parts, this def. seems to be a re-occuring problem with most rusty owners and they will most likely agree on this with me but as...
you are prolly assuming that the trx 2.5 engine has 2.5 hp because of the "2.5" on the engine but that is the displacement of the engine in cubic centimeters (cc).....i think it puts out about 1hp or...
By the way... when u said the shock came unscrewed did u mean that the whole entire shock came unscrewed from the shock tower or did the shock cap pull apart from the rest of the shock...
Def. weird!!!!.......i hit a curb recently and broke the plastic rear A-arm mount also (right side). Guess all of us nirto rusty owners have some weird bond......we all must stick together!!!! lol
Is it faster than the orig. trx 2.5? I bet it doesnt have as much torque.... :p you gotta love the wheelie power of the 2.5....
daaaaaaaaaaaaang.... that is a good price for big bores... they are usually 30 bucks a pair.....good snag bro!!! :D
You might want to make sure that the battery in your EZ starter is fully charged....it might have enuff juice to heat the plug but not enuff to turn the engine over....i noticed this myself
The first thing i would do to avoid tearing your engine apart is take your EZ start off and make sure nothing is binding up with that by turning it over off of the engine...if everything is ok with...
wouldn't it be bad if they made turbochargers for nitro rc?...obviosly it would be impossible for the simple fact that 2 cycle nitro engines run on compression and glow heat to ignite the fuel...
thanks...i didnt even give thougt to that....it is threaded into the graphite but i did put nuts on the end of the screws so it should be fine anyway..... laaaaaate
