really? ive had 3 vxls that have all done it. and my friend that's sponsored has like 8 trucks with them in it that also do it.
when you're jumping and you stab the brakes a few times to put the...
you will need a new speed control. part of the board is fried which is why its getting so hot. so either send it to traxxas to get fixed or buy another speed control.
unfortunately thats a common problem with the vxl. you will need to contact traxxas and get a replacement if you want it to work properly
I have both, and i use the vxl only as a backup. the castle motor runs cooler, and the sidewinder esc has better tuning options.
the vxl has some annoying quirks. it doesnt sense if the motor is...
Got a stampede for free 2 years ago. no electronics, but still, it was free
if you spin the tires what's wobbling. is the axle moving up and down? is the rim? it could be the foams are not put in correctly and cause it to wobble.
Foam tires, Mamba Monster, 2200kv motor, 6s lipo, extended chassis, and about 40-50 other things
in the end, it wont be a rustler. and it wont be fun to drive. ive built speed cars, and that's all...
it should have small guide tabs on the side of the plug and in the esc port. they will either be toward the top or bottom
I wouldnt say the MMP doesnt run sensored motors very well. I run a tekin 17.5, novak 13.5, and novak HV 5.5 on mine and its flawless. from the novak speed controls ive run it's better by far. Some...
no matter what you spray it will be the same amount of shine. since you are spraying the inside of the body, the paint will only be as shiny as the plastic.
when you spray you will want to scuff...
then i would just run it. you need a small amount of play. they might just be noisy for a bit. they will quiet down eventually when they wear in
just because a glow plug lights up doesnt mean its good. ive seen a lot of people that have no clue why their car starts like junk or doesnt start at all, and we put a new glow plug in and it starts...
what ive done is get a small rubber o ring to put on the output shaft. this isnt necessary but it helps. i grease it with red tacky grease no matter what. this will seal against splashes, snow, etc,...
yeah, if its bending at the front it almost has to be that.
take the whole front of the truck and see if you can move it from the chassis. any little bit is why its bending
are you bending the center driveshaft? ive never heard of that happening. make sure the bolts that hold the front skidplate on are put in right. the ones farther back need to be in from the top, if...
im not sure on the spring rate, but it sounds like you might have a problem with the front diff. i still have the original diff in my truck, and thats seen 4s with a 550 size motor with no problems....
from what i can tell tamiya doesnt make a metallic black.
you will have to get pactra, and besides, pactra is a better paint. it holds up much better.
...
^^^^^Agreed 100%
yeah, id never put my go pro there. i have inside the truck on the battery bar. i just run with no body and drive careful. im going to make a roll bar to go over it, then i wont have to worry.

I service mine 2 times per year. before winter, and after winter. I spray them out with electric motor cleaner, add a few drops of 10w-30 motor oil, then pack them with red tacky grease, done.

It sounds like he's going to be putting them in series, at least thats what i got out of it.
and yes, those glues do a very good job of waterproofing. I use those to waterproof my hardcase lipos
^^^^I've done that once just so i could go back and spray pactra behind it. it's a "natural" way to get a tear look
the paint you want is for polycarbonate. it's self etching and has flex agents in it so it wont crack.
black acrylic is either faskolor airbrush paint, or regular acrylic paint, and you dont want...
use shoe goo, or e6000, or amazing goop. all the same thing. it dries as a flexible perfectly clear rubber. you can also use this stuff to fix bodies, mount switches etc.
^^^^agreed
the xo-1 body will not fit on a slash. thats a much longer and wider vehicle.
