That might be the case, however cooling actually isn't even an issue. With the two water pickups i have independently cooling the motor and ESC, those two items barely get warm!

Hey - just saying it's possible. My blast is pretty sick. can't control it but...
Edited for bypassing the language filter. Please do not insert spaces between letters to get around the language...
Yes - but you might have to modify the battery opening to be able to get them in and out with the longer motor. Also, you'll have to cut and re-solder the wires for the battery connection since you...
That would be pretty good. 2s is just flirting on the edge of control loss. 3s is almost completely insane. That being said however, I've got two more things to do to my boat and we'll see how it...
Yes, it's very cramped. I had to change my mounting for the radio box to be able to fit the large Proboat ESC
Hey Guys -
I got my new motor and turn fins yesterday. Got them installed last night. WoW! that motor has some torque! I used my 25c 2s 4000mah Lipo with it today, and it is very smooth and...
I actually ended up just adding two actual turn fins, and replaced and moved the H20 Pickups. Not sure how it will work tho, haven't been able to test yet. Here's some pics:

So yea - Since those photos. Blew up the Motor (Magnet cracked), Flooded the ESC (Waterproof, it ain't) and then proceeded to kill the stock setup (brushed stock motor like, broke a brush? idk, don't...
Have you checked to see if a spambot got in there somewhere and is messing stuff up?
Just giving you crap! :)
LoL I'm a spam bot because I know how to make a link to another website? Where would you have me look for parts?
Well, i wonder if we'd benefit at all.
Yea, I live about, oh 10 blocks from a river which has a slow current - good place to play. I definitely could have used another boat tonight - took off real fast, hit a wave and turned and flipped...
So, I'm sure some people who own blasts like me have looked at the rear water pickup bracket, and wondered what the clip on that bracket is for. There doesn't appear to be a fin or anything in the...
Hey guys - just want to share what I've done... I have a 4300kv 9t brushless, new Seaking 35a ESC, and 4000mah 2s lipo. Have both the 432 and 435 props - not sure about them yet vs stock. (set screw...
I used this: http://www.hobbypartz.com/3650m-sl-4300kv-brushless-motor.html with a Seaking 35a Esc. It's just silly fast.
Yea - I have experienced that now. the LiPos absolutely cut out. Darn near lost the boat in the river. I'll have to make sure to stick to my NiMh batts when i'm there, save the LiPo for the lake...
Hey guy - I can't tell you how thrilled I am to find a thread on the Blast that's not from 2003. I am hoping I can get some opinions from you guys. I have a new blast I bought a month ago - I went...
Well - truthfully, I wanted 3 things out of my blast:
1. I wanted to be able to use Li-Po Batteries. The stock ESC does not have low voltage protection, and would fry a Li-Po
2. I wanted to use a...
Thank you very much for the reply. I will take a look at it, however the 2216 is the radio that came stock in my Blast. (Sorry, i previously stated 2218) I've only had the blast for about 1 month...
Hey guys, I'll cut right to the chase, here's my issue:
I hook up my new Seaking 35a marine ESC to the stock Traxxas Blast Radio (2218, 4ch) and then the motor.
Everything "works" except I...
Hey guys - I'm brand new to these forums. Had a Blast boat now for about 3 weeks. It's a lot of fun, handles awesome and takes waves like a pro. I'm looking to get a brushless motor and new ESC. Do...
