My wife picked me up the front kit for my slash 4x4 for Christmas.
She didn't do any research on these and I...
Ok, good. Thx all.
I just switched from my stock 54t to a 52t. Leaving everything on truck the same, will I notice any difference?
Ring and pinion. I just used some automotive grease like mentioned above. Thanks all!
Is this the right grease to use on the gears in the front differential housing?
I think I am sticking with the stock servo but I already ordered the parts.
So for my mainly stock setup for bashing, I should just stick with the stock replacement?
I picked one up today but am hearing that people have stripped the servo gears with this thing. I busted my steering linkage up front and was looking for something stronger, any tips for installing...
Already removed the front end, much easier to work on now. Just waiting on parts.....
Awesome. Thanks all, this forum has been great since I bought this truck. I have been a little rough with this thing but wow are these fun to mess with.
Any tips on replacing this, I had a ridiculously hard impact today and actually cracked the darn housing. Also noticed the front bulk head had a crack so need to replace that too. How hard to replace...
Ok, thanks. I went with the trenchers because I think they are a good all around everything tire and they sure beat the stock ones I have now. I appreciate all the feedback....
Are they a good tire for general bashing in the loose gravel and dirt?
Are these a direct fit for my stock Slash 4x4 Ultimate? Are they a good tire?
I just got done running in the snow. Can I do that with lipo? I also have a lot of rocks on my driveway, are lipid durable enough to handle harsh driving?
Or a 9 cell NiMH that is better? Where to buy?
Where can I buy 9 cell, 5000 mah, rechargeable battery packs for my slash? I don't want lipo just trying I find a good place to buy these batteries.
Can you run those springs outside for bashing or are the indoor racing springs or something??
I have the slash ultimate with the big bore shocks. Can I add the following springs to these without replacing anything else? Are they a direct fit? Part#6864 and 6868? They are the +20% progressive.
Yep, checked all that too. Thanks, that's a good video.
This is going to sound dumb. Is that medium up front and large out back?
What do you guys run on the front and back for offroad driving. I see I have a small, medium and large spacers. What should be up front and out back? Totally stock slash ultimate with rpm a arms....
Ok, makes sense, thanks all.
