any one of them, just make sure not to reverse the polarity, I know its pretty simple but Ive done it not paying attention
I did the same thing, the first time around. Just go on ebay and order a replacement fan
this has got to be the fastest build thread ive seen! nice work on the conversions. I bet your hobby store loves you
I would just replace the other a arm, its going to be the weaker of the too and break sooner. Sticking with the rpm stuff will reduce chances of breakage
yup order 5381 and rebuild the diffs. This usually happens to me when I run a thin diff fluid. When I switched to the thicker fluid for my driving style.. 100k. I havent seen any leaks in awhile. But...
I didnt know rpm made the front hubs.. Ive only seen the rear. But the stock plastic ones were holding up good. I recently broke a rear hub and put on a rpm one. Feels more durable but only time will...
I own and race a basic slash 4x4. I have replaced front and rear arms, center bearing, rear hubs and a motor bearing within 10 months of use. Its been a great car and the maintenance is cake...
everyone on the slash is almost water proof except the bearings.. they start to get gritty and fail. I bought the rebuild kit and it only took 10 minutes to remove the motor, install new bearings and...
reversing the steering is thru the esc settings. Its in the back of the manual.. the set up tree
just buy the rebuild kit, comes with new bearings and shims for $13. Thats what I did when my bearing completely came apart
I run the associated ds1015. A little pricey but hi speed/ hi torque.. whoops on the stock servo
Yes. It is all on the driver. When I first started I loved the durability of the slash bashing. When I started indoor racing I almost hated it because I could never keep up with the losi's and sc10s....
I love mine.. pretty much just bolts on. I just needed losi's extended scews and some really light fluid. I got the truck almost dialed and I love them
excluding the truck itself ..
batteries and charger $300
tires $40
losi shocks $60
center diff $25
fan and heatsinks $20
rpm stuff $40
proline bodies $100
broken parts $100
thanks either way. I put the old one back and ran it tonight hard and so far no issues.. so only time will tell
I just picked up the rebuild kit and all the bearing went on perfect.. just one question. According to the instructions( I have the current motor and rotor) it states to use the brass spacer like the...
your esc is done. Same thing happend to my friend.. needed a nudge after every stop but other than that it worked fine.
my buddy uses the suburbs and loves them. Im running the hot bodies beams in pink. I got a killer deal and they work pretty good. But I need to try the suburbs soon enough
thanks guys ill just have to spend more time tinkering with it. Ive been running this set up for 3 months with no issues. But first thing ill do is try to relink everything, and inspect my servo.
just an esc fan, motor fan, kingz head motor mount, center diff and thats it. Does it sound like I have an glitching issue? there were quite a few slash's out there last night
I was racing last night and my slash would randomly want to turn left. It doesn't happen all the time but when i shut it off and restart it, everything seems fine until a few more minutes into my...
