I have run the electric version (top pic) to a 1.58 seconds @ 88 mph in 132 feet (1/10 scale quarter mile) back in the round cell (10) and brushed motor days.
Track was prepped with sugar water...
I think a single wheelie bar is just fine, as long as it is centered correctly. That's what the real car uses, and that's what the high performance rc drag cars use mostly. If I was having problems...
They look good to me. Too much power all you do is spin the tires and lose control.
