Losi Blue 2.5 all the way around...
Set a soda can next to each tire and then adjust.
Maintenance.
Yep....thicker oil 100 should be good
2.5's all around....and don't bother with the green....blues are perfect
Well if you stripped a set screw on one of those big 5mm pinions you are using some crappy allen wrench.....do your self a favor and invest in some good wrenches;)
Put the 2.5 4.1 one's in the front also and add one of the big spacers (3/8) to each shock....you really should need much more spring....unless you are running some monster sized battery!
oh and...
Front toe on that thing is way out of wack!
Stock shocks + gold shafts + Aluminum caps + 50wt oil + better springs= best setup possible.....Proline and big(small) bores are a waste of money.....If you want real performance go 8th scale shocks
If they weren't better I don't think Traxxas would be putting them on all the new Ultimates
VXL max rpm 50,000..............4x3.6=14.4(4s).
..........14.4x3500(kv)= 50,400RPM :)
4s for 30 seconds
You guys need to be buying these:

They are for a 5mm shaft but they make a reducer to use on the stock motor....the set screw is huge...
My personal opinion is that 50k is too light. It causes you to loose straight line speed out of the corner. 75k seems to work the best. I really don't know why the other brands run thinner fluids...
No I would set the toe and leave it alone. Only reset your servo arm to adjust it manually.
Bahahaha seriously? I'll keep my mouth shut!
I always paint and then cut?
Get some "Shoe Goo" and put it all over the inside where the body will usually crack.
Use the white body washer from traxxas all the time in between the top of the body and the body pins!
Mamba Max Pro and VXL brushless motor is the all around best setup......
Mamba Max Pro and Ballistic HV 550 is too temperamental!
VXL Brushless will run at 200* all day long with no problems
...
No those are Walker Evans replicas
AKA just came out with a set of rims that are replica to Robby Gordon Wheels. I looked everywhere for a pic but couldn't find one. I saw them at the local track last weekend. Pretty Sweet though...
I would only run them down half way the first five runs (some of the top companies recommend this).....if Lipos go bad its usually right when you get them
A good 2S lipo is still better and offers longer run times!
No I prefer the plastic shocks with good shafts and aluminum caps! But it doesn't matter, those springs will work on either shocks.
