That's an awesome paint job! Looks seriously mean.
Good job.
I think that your issue there is that Traxxas is a basher brand, and you took it to a race track, or your LHS is racer-focused.
Traxxas just doesn't aim for competitive racing against other...
I have heard that hobbyhot is legit.
Peter - Shame we can't get them anymore, they won't ship international now. It sucks, but I can probably still get them when someone I know goes to the US.
I read the thread title and thought "oh no, project impossible"
Good luck, but these minis are fragile.
I would get the Slash 4x4 if you like the Slash 2WD but wish it had more control/grip.
But if you're happy with what you have now stick with it, and fix/upgrade the broken stuff.
I would...
For off-road I have the Tamiya rally blocks. They're quite an aggressive tread, but they hook up good, and they work on the mini slash with any 12mm hex touring car wheels (most TC wheels).
You just...
You're looking at big block right? Because Tekin are definetely soon releasing a sensored 380 system. Just ask Randy Pike from Team Tekin at RC Tech.
For waterproofing, the Tekin RS and RS Pro are...
Lucky kid!
That truck has all the right upgrades too!
Nice. So the rules don't even work.
There's some good info in the thread. Those new motors look promising.
One of the odd things about this forum is there seems to be a bias to castle systems. If someone's running an aftermarket...
Try taking out the servo saver and loosening the 2 screws a little.
And for the pictures, this shows you how: (I use photobucket)...
Must be a power issue. You are powering 2 RXs and 4 servos.
Well you won't be able to go off-road. And there aren't any other 7th scale vehicles out there, so good luck on the body.
Do want that.
When are we going to see some EU sports cars though?
None of this US junk...
Looks sick! I prefer it to the factory-made one!
You got skills.
None of the minis run 4S. They're all 3S maximum, unless it's the brushed ones which are 2S max.
Go brushless, not brushed. Brushed is a waste of time, brushless is what it's all about.
My local forum has some exciting news! HPI and Losi merging to make HPRC!

Thanks for the pictures most helpful. This one shows it best:

I see what you mean, the size is good, but you can...
I've been looking at those Fastrax ones-any chance of you posting a pic with your pede on it so I can see for size?
They look great, good pirce and in the UK!
Thanks!
Oh, and it's not magnetized...
Your job on that body is excellent! You're really making me think about converting my mini slash now!
I would go with the 380, you get better handling, and with a Neu you have plenty of power.
I would get the Neu 1112 1.5D 4350 kv, you can run 2S, 3S and even a little 4S if you want to on that...
What are your temperatures? Do you have a temp gun?
And check your castle link, and re-do all of the settings.
