I think proline already has a new body to fit these.

I think proline already has a new body to fit these.
The ten t shocks are basically identical to the ae shocks minus the emulsion screw which most people just keep the bladder in the shock anyway. I run the ten t shocks on my SSC lcg slash 4x4 but use...
Barely any at all I run 15/54 a lot outdoors and the only time you will even start to get warm is if you in deeper grass with it pinned a lot. I usually run back to back batteries with this and don't...
What are those body mount pins on it from they look interesting like some sort of threaded mount?
I don't know about that turn to kv chart. Seems off the stock vxl is 3500kv and is a 10.5 turn motor. But the chart says 13.5? Also my 6.5 turn tekin is rated at 3900kv and that's according to tekin....
I don't use the receiver box for my SSC slash because unless your running the stock electronics nothing is waterproof anyway so why add the oversized box. As for mounting the receiver use the top...
So what price are you thinking?
How tight is the slipper? If its set too tight it acts lock a locked diff and will tear parts up on the truck and create excessive heat on parts. The adjustment on the slipper is a very touchy thing....
But doesn't front and rear oil have more to do with left and right tires spinning than front and back. I am assuming I need heavier center diff oil to keep the power from transferring to the front so...
I am having problems with the inside tire on a corner lifting and turning into a pizza cutter with the center diff. During the winter we race on a high bite carpet track and I am not sure what I need...
I used j concepts rocx tires on mine. I assume you are looking to make it a MT slash?http://img.tapatalk.com/d19ff4b3-cab9-59f3.jpg
I just used some nylon spacers from the hardware store with longer screws under the stock body mounts. I believe they were 1/2" in length. http://img.tapatalk.com/d19ff4b3-d23c-9ad5.jpg
Just a couple things to add not that I would recommend it but the vxl 3s esc does have a sensor wore port to Ron sensored motors but more than likely temps will still be an issue among the other...
Well I got my MT Slash 4x4 done and it turned out pretty well. Can't wait to take it for a...
Just got my tires and now it's time to paint the body. I am really looking forward to giving this thing a spin. I got the rpm 2.2 wheels and some j concepts rocx for tires.
I have one of those and for the most part it's direct drive for on the throttle so you do lose the ability of tuning the power front and rear. If you race it could help you in cornering because once...
Another big advantage of the SSC is the built in heat sink for the motor and use of the aluminum chassis to disperse the heat too. Especially helpful when running the large scale motors for bashing...
That's cool thanks for the link I will have to check out the settings. I will probably switch to the pro4 eventually but the deal I got I couldn't pass up. So did you notice a lot of change between...
I am going to be running this motor combo in my slash 4x4 and I also picked up the Hotwire. I am wondering if anyone is using this combo or could give me some setup pointers with the Hotwire options....
Go with the SSC LCG. http://img.tapatalk.com/d19ff4b3-b905-9a32.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d19ff4b3-b915-911b.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d19ff4b3-b92c-3827.jpg
Go with the SSC LCG instead it's a far better design and is an amazing race machine to use. The steering is amazing, handling is top notch, and there is no sacrifice of suspension travel like the rce.
Gotta remember one thing the slash 4x4 was the first SC of its kind so of course the others have made improvements on the slash but with some mods the slash is very competitive with the others if not...
What weight oil are you using in them and also what springs. Thanks

Beadlocks are quite a bit heavier when you just use them stock but if you buy the aluminum outer beadlock rings they are almost the same weight as the plastic wheels. I use nothing but split six...
What shocks are you using and what oil weight is on them? That has to be the coolest looking rustler I have seen yet.
There is always time for toys.
