Hey! Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
Yeah, just trying to go 70/30 on the trigger throttle, i will try it again today...
I guess thats the point I'm getting at, how is this done? Instructions are vague...
Yeap, it took me a minute to figure it out too..Finally, i decided to bend one side out and it worked fine..good luck!!
I'm sure it's something simple that I'm missing, but I was wondering how to adjust the control/esc to 70/30 setting..moving the controller to 70/30 is a no brainer, but how do we adjust the esc for...
Sounds like it probably got too hot, the next motor i get will be for 1/8 scale...
The same could be said for R/C or anything for that matter..great advice though, really!
You'll be happier with the slash, it's faster, lighter, and handles much better then the stampede...
Manufacturing cost would be my guess...
Use your needle nose pliers to bend the plastic up enough so that you can slide the joint in. Its a tight fit, but the plastic is soft and will bend with out breaking...
I started my car with a Lifepo4 battery not my lithium polymers..The lipo didn't swell until after i dropped in on the ground and tried to charge it later..I've seen people catch there lipos on fire...
Yeap, I have a Life po pack aswell, it's so powerful it will start my real car..Dropped a lipo today from like two feet, fragile little buggers!
...
Yes, i use the same ones for bashing, and save the stock ones for racing..You'll just have to cut out the wheel wells a little more to make them fit...
Thanks guys, I used double sided tape to mount the esc which should have more vibration resistance then the stock mounting. I'm still wanting to fabricate a new motor mount, If i can do that then I...
Yeah, I hacked and then i hacked some more, the carbon fiber is pretty light but, the transfer of the weight is what really improves the handling. The lcg is night and day compared to stock. I...

I've been pretty busy lately but finally found some time to post this up. I combined the double chassis mod with the custom carbon fiber bottom plate for a much improved handling slash. It was very...
Yeah, it had to of been the old slayer, luckily they refunded all of my money after they heard my complaint. And now cylinder #1 dropped the rings in my real car so i have something other then r/c to...
Yeah, I would get a decent 4 port charger and a few lipo's 2+3S 8000mah, and an 1/8th scale motor and esc..then spend the rest on integy parts..it's his b-day money let him be a kid and spend it on...
I recieved my slayer last week and was disapointed to find it exactly the same size as my slash. Yes, the chassis is 30% longer, but that is it..Same size body, tires, and width. I was looking fwd to...
Making my lcg chassis now and the only problem I can see is that the motor (second in weight only to the battery). Cannot be lowered unless the mounting bracket is re-fabbed. I will work on the this...
I just order my carbon fiber 12"x24" sheet off ebay, to be different i chose silver and only went with 2.5mm. Looking to turn it into a strictly track vehicle so I'm not worried about the thickness....
Thanks for the tips on the easy start and 1/8 wheel conversion. I'm even more geeked to get my truck tomorrow..let the games begin!
I know what you mean, I just ordered a 12"x24" plate of carbon fiber on ebay to make a custom lcg chassis for my slash. My gf has the rc10 t4.1, it's only two wheel drive but she kicks my butt at the...
Sounds like a fairly easy conversion..I used to race and know that a good set up is key especially when it comes to the right tires so you can actually hook up. But, I am surprised they let you run...
