Take the slide out, drill out cork or rubber plugs that fit the id of the carb.
put a bolt thruogh it and chuck the bolt. then use a file to cut it down.

Yes, the peices of aluminim get dusted in the bearings then foul your
plug. you could smooth that out and run it again as long as it doesn't reach the intake port. Be shure to wash out the bearings...
Roto start works, the input mounts on the bottom twards the outside.

Turn up the idle on the radio. if you can keep a glow heater attached
after it starts till it warms up.
For now check your idle gap, mabie lean the low end a little.
