Or buy a 3.3 chassis...strip the blue anno off and then have it re anodized. If you already have a Revo 3.3 you can strip it down and have it re anodized any color you want.

That is correct. The largest 2/3a size rx packs are 1600mah. The AA Rx packs I build are 2600mah. I am not concerned about them fitting in the stock battery compartment as I have the rx pack mounted...
The packs I build are 5 cell 6.0v packs. I just use AA cells instead of the 2/3a cells like the Traxxas and Orion Rx packs use.
Looks are only skin deep. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the ebay packs have the same cells as the orion. I build my own rx packs out of AA NiMh digital camera batteries from wal-mart. They work...
Just curious, which springs are you running front and rear?
FWIW, we started off the season 2 years ago with the 18tz. 1/2 way through the season we switched back to a box stock 3.3 and our lap times dropped almost 2sec a lap. Same truck..same suspension...
If you want to run a CF Brake Disk, GIVE THIS ONE A TRY. You will not be disappointed.
The THS 146C and 146H pipes are the same. The only difference is one is chrome and one is hard coated.
It is not a rumor. Roar has dropped MT and Gas Truck. They merged the Nitro Buggy Finals and Truck Finals into one National Event. Those of us who still want to race MT need to support The RC Pro...
That should work if you can get a new TM crank.
THIS THREAD should help you some.
No. The 18tz is not a direct drop in. Some minor mods are needed. Do a search on tz install and you should find what you need.
You likely arent gonna have a choice, as the 18tm has been discontinued.
I don't disagree, but for the average user, Electric is WAY easier. I love Nitro, but I also love the ease of running an electric vehicle. There was an E-Revo at the RCPro race I was at last weekend....
I am not skeered. Nitro is great I have 3 revos. I also have 6 electric cars. You can see Brushless/LiPo taking over. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to see it. Is battery technology gets better,...
Then don't buy one. LiPo Brushless is the future of R/C though.
You should take a look at AvidRC for your bearings. They are only $1/each.
HERE IS A LINK to an article on how to change engine bearings. The article uses a plane engine, but the principle is the same.
These folks will also Anodize your chassis for you.

No, but more than likely your switch is. I got rid of the switch. I got a servo extender and plugged one end into the RX and let the female end hang out of the RX box. Then just plug your battery...
His issue is with the Physical Pinch that is in the sleeve and trying to break the motor in in 50 - 60 deg temps. The only way to eliminate the problem is to warm the engine up. If you do not have...
Depending on the outside air temps where you are, you may need to heat the engine block with a hair dryer or heat gun. This will expand the sleeve and prevent the problem you are seeing. What you are...
First time I have ever seen the 5955 with a tag of SPEED. Has always been "High Torque" or "Ultra Torque". Its the same one I have and use though. Great servo, you will not be disappointed.
I run the revo internals in the 3905 diff cup. I do not run the center support. After the swap, I could tell there was a major difference in how the diff felt just rotating it by hand. I havent had a...
by the time you buy 2 sets, you are within $20 of the RD carriers and the ones you linked will not accept the 8mm stubs like the RD Carriers, so its not an apples to apples comparison. The would be a...
