I hihly doubt you bent that shaft.. what motor are you using.. I look at the rotation of the spur. if it wobbleswhen youturn it then the shaft is bent or the disc against the pessure plate is bent.....

what kind of speeds should I expect...i tried the speed calculator and it said 27mph but thats wrong..its a nihm 9.6 4200. I dont have the truck yet but im thinking 50 mph. what do you guys think?

hey make sure your son is giving the battery a break between runs..make sure it is cool before he runs it and charges it...that could be why the battery popped but the esc didn't..
