I used the proline racing trenchers on mine. i love the looks of those tires. used traxxas black chrome wheels with them. for suspension i used the traxxas variable rate pistons, drilled out the...
realize that its more of a absorbtion type unit. would be great for me. sounds like a win/win type deal. IF it will work. guess i will have to order the parts and see how they look
.
Wondering out loud if the slipper clutch off the xo-1 will be able to be used on the e-revo. I have lots of slipper clutch issues and that seems ideal for me.

I have done it. It will work for a little while. Like everybody else said, axle shafts and driveshafts are weak points. I ran this summer with black trans and 3.3 driveshaft. Trans just died 2 wks...
lol, i am not the only one!
2 t-maxx, one merv, summit, slash, 2 kids, great times!
I have always been wondering this too, if the .26 picco was really that much better than the 3.3. I raced a guy at the local outdoors track with a full blown "aftermarket" t-maxx, all aluminun, 2.6...

my brother had a savage. now has a t-maxx. savages are junk. how you say you dont have to tune is just crazy
thanks dad for the info on shims
as a reminder, my lsn and hsn are now much richer than the traxxas factory settings, so saying that those settings are "rich" isnt always true. then again i live in michigan, lol

if it does, what is the advantage?
btw, once i got the tune right on my 2.5 and 3.3 i have had zero owb...
Holy cow! The blue eagle is what got me started in R/C soooo many years ago. Wish I still had the ones i had. Was a very fun durable truck, especially compared to the losi's and rc10's of the the day...
I had the exact same problem with a 2.5 engine a month ago. Was running great one day. Next day went thru 3 glow plugs. Tore down engine and found the EXACT same damage as you are describing. Mine...
hmmm, I had the same problem as newibie to nitro stuff. my 2.5cc t-maxx with a 3.3 engine now has a "problem" with wheelies. It is a handfull to control now. It shifts into second gear and pulls...
