Looks great mate. How do the Mickey Thompsons go?
Yes they are. I drive mine in my pool often.

I have built a strong hitch. Post #8 in the following thread:
http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread.php?522782-New-trailer-for-Summit
I have pulled a Baja 5B with it.
Thats great. Top pics.
Nice little mud hole mate. The Summits usually take more than that to kill them. I drive mine in my pool & don't have any issues. If you are doing a lot of water crossings, seal up the outside of the...
German,
Here you go. My new project on the trailer. SCX10 Dingo slightly modified.

Sounds normal to me. You could try some silicone lube on the gear to soften the noise & a small adjustment on the motor as well.
The boat seized a motor. I could not get a direct replacement so i had to replace both of them. I took it for a run with the new motors & came home & flushed them out as i usually do with clean water...
German,
That is a nice trailer mate. I am glad that i inspired someone. My trailer is going strong still. It's a pitty the boat is not. I am going to car my 6x6 rock crawler on it when i finish it.
One thing that i have got is a tube of RTV silicone for when the tyres get holes in them.
Nice. Make sure you post pics:)
Thanks guys.
I'll do that today.
I took my Summit for a swim today similar to this type of swim:

It was working fine but since the swim when i plug the...
Sand is no issue. Just clean it off when you are finished, similar to running in water or mud. I run Jumbo Kongs on the beach with no issues of temperature to the stock motor & my motor is 3yrs old.
The locking diffs mean that if you have a wheel on either axle in the air you don't loose drive to the one which is still on the ground. Open diffs transfer power to the path or wheel of least...
Nice trailer mate. Have a look through this thread that i did. It may give you some ideas on the hitch on the rear of the Summit. Also stiffen the rear spings up. the Summit will tow flatter....
I use small sinkers inside of the tyre for extra weight.
The tool which i use i got with an Inferno GT when i bought it.
I use a thin walled 17mm socket. The standard sockets are too thick to fit in the hole.

Not really. I run them on custom rims & no foams.
Jumbo's work ok. I run a set on my Summit.
I like the look of the Slingers.
Nice pics mate. I wish i had more time just to use my Summit let alone drive it in places like that.
Nice pics mate. It's nice to see a Summit dirty.
Or the one's which are multi coloured & can walk on water.

I did the same thing doing rollback wheelies with Jumbo Kongs. I just replaced it with the standard one. It was 1/2 the price of a steel one & i'd much rather replace it instead of a more expensive...
