Why did you change to the 3800kv from 4600kv?
Thats really true my friends when i talk to them about rc they think that nitro is way better. I made a bet with one for a dollar to find the most nitro/electric races where the electrics won. Well i...
You may look into tekno. They are lighter cheaper and more simple while being just as bulletproof
Sorry i meant the rpm one for the revo is the one you use for the summit.
Yep. The summit and revo ones are the same.
I just bought some hot racing ones. They are amazing. The slop was nearly eliminated. The little slop still there can be fixed from adding metal tie rods and steel hollow balls.
Try searching t3rrys 17mm adapters. For the teknos you dont need the bushings he recommends. I just bought extra stub axles and drilled them to fit a larger hex pin. I used hpi hexes and pins. I can...
Mine did the same thing every time i went out. I finally waited till a warm day and boom they stopped breaking. It must have been the cold for me.
Multiply on a calculator your original numbers by 1.2 . Its the same as 120%
Hey i used that exact motor after my gforce. Its only problem is that it sticks out a little far so mine has a few dents in it. Rpm makes a motor protector that would fix that. Fyi that motor isnt...
Idk its a learning experience and tons of fun!
Oh man that reminds me when i awed over the pure sight of my first traxxas, a pede xl-5, going 20mph down the driveway. Now i try to keep the front end down on my slash 4x4.
Search for the esc on hobbyparts or nitrorcx. I like the gforce motors from value hobby. Ran a 3200kv for a while. Great price imo. I think he'll love brushless.
No on the xl-5. I would suggest from experience the ezrun 60a esc. For kv i would say 3000 to 4000. Do you run lipos?
Hey digger is that a pede body? I love that spider web look.
I had a clicking today and it was because of a little dirt in the spur. Very annoying. Also check the pinion aswell
Is there a little nut that the screw can thread into? You should be able to see it from the top of the motor mount. Theres a small gap. It may have fallen out....
Heres pics of my wr

For you i would go with a 4 stroke 250. Something like a crf 250 r or a kx 250f. Both will have gobs of power and easy to maintain. I ride a wr 250 f which is like a racing bike but with a light and...
What are you using for bumpers? I love that look. Thats what i want
Well sir been away from tapatalk awhile. I was thinking that you could throw on a set of rear ofna lx2 shocks. Their about an inch longer than stocks and a true big bore. They are like the hotbodies...
What do you need longer ones for?
Does anyone run a truggy slash? If so what is your setup ie: tires body or wing. I love the look of a truggy and i just got a sl4sh so i want info.
Yeah its still safe. I would put tape over that to keep it from tearing more
