Tried with dirt hawgs and got the same speed
Well I got 49 mph with the bow ties and 2s30c 5000 spc ,4600 kv castle and sv2 rustler best I could get out of it with 28 pinion and83 spur
I am trying a speed run with my rustler, what would be a better tire, bowtie or dirthawgs? That is all I have, which set so would have the least resistance?
I am new to this why the 3s for the 4600 and 2s for the 5700?
lipo setting is default if you don't have castle link give them a call and they can walk you through set up with your transmitter
how would I store lipo battery for four months?
cutting away some of the trans didn't help with temps? I was thinking of cutting like you did
my guess would be to test run it to find out, I don't have any experience with that set up,sorry
very nice!
does the golden horizon have any toe in?
according to castle it will handle the 3s lipo maximum what is your opinion about bashing as I wrote earlier?
would I be able to bash around with 3s lipo using 17/90 without too much heat issue? I do use a temp gun.realizing how do I bash makes a difference, just asking in general I guess.
should I go 86/28?
If
I run 7 cell 5000 mah and castle 4600 1406 with 83/28 gears and go 42, does it seem possible that I could hit 60 with 3s lipo?
ouch that would hurt
can I use the same slipper clutch that is used with the 48 pitch spur?
welcome, I have the same set up only no lipo yet, just 7 cell nihm, runs good and long with 90/17 gear, is about 150 max at the motor and esc about 105 and battery about 110 if I run it real hard off...
I have been using a tomtom gps with tripmaster to record mph, however I noticed the other day while in my car that the mph recording is choppy and does not record steady mph for I guess until mph is...
thanks all
what is the proper grease to use?
does running at less than full throttle run up temps?
the drag brake works on light throttle or neutral? I may try that
yes I do use a temp gun and it has been running aroung 105 motor and esc around 97
I think the 2.8 dirt hawgs are a smaller diameter than the stock stampede tires, I run them and am having traction problems on short grass, also with brushless.
I am fairly new to brushless motors, I have a 4600 kv sv2 esc, running dirt hawgs and 18/90 gears. As I understand it heats up esc's running on less than full throttle, I run mainly on grass, but...
