clutch bells have nothing to do with wide vs. close ratio tranny gearing. anyway......using a close ratio gear setup keeps the engines rpm closer between gear changes(less rpm drop when tripping into...
i've always started my RACE revo with a gel cel with no problems.....box is just ALOT heavier with the gel....
two stick packs(preferably 3000mah or more) will have more cranking voltage(each stick's 7.2v(14.4 total) vs. the 12v gel cel.......but, the gel will "work" longer before being re-charged ...........
i use the logics box but, i know, that the OFNA box is great.........

looks like it's time for traxxas's ERP(engine replacement plan.........).
probably will............diffs are expendable............
funny....traxxas calls the blue o-rings X-RINGS because they're shaped like an "X" in cross section.......any reason you dont like them....?? they always sealed super good for me on the diff outdrive...
first....after the motors fully warmed up, try going a few more hours RICHER on the LS.....sounds like, maybe, after transitioning back to the LS, it leans out.......give it a shot.........
no bladders with the alum caps....use your old bladders if in good shape. the alum caps are a good improvement over the PLASTIC stockers.......much less tendency to blow off under hard shock...
besides......LIPO's have come a long way and are being improved............i've raced with LIPO's for awhile now and have had ZERO problems..................

give your self some more negative camber...especially in the rear.....this helps minimize hooking(rolling over)........

stock(15/38) works great on my RACE revo........use the same gearing with my 0S21TM, as well.........along with a close ratio setup in the tranny.............fantastic bottom and top end......
Motox31x...........you mentioned earlier( a few times) that, even with the cooling head(bolted tightly, i guess) that the sleeve moves UP as the piston approaches TDC.............?????? how can that...
8 clips..?? even 7....dont know how ya fit them(even with extreme bulkhead/arm dremeling) but, either way....gotta agree 7 or 8's WAY too much caster....................................but, what's...
either 5 or 6 clips foward along with 1/2 offset wheels introduces a handleing advantage known as CASTER JACKING. the following is a quote from past traxxas mt champ TIM ROBERTS....
"Caster jacking...
