Hey all, I'm in the process of rebuilding my carb. I'm trying to follow the directions at http://www.traxxas.com/support/howto/trx2.5_carb_maintenance.htm but I can't seem to get the carb slide out....
I'm using an Associated Torque pipe on my 2.5 NPede

I'm running Losi XXX-NT CVD's in the rear and I'm not having any problems. The Stampede sees about 3-4 tanks a week...
Just replace it with OE parts (#2382 for the Planet gears which usually go first). Unless you plan on doing some racing and need the adjustability, the ball diff isn't very cost effective nor bash...
Heh yeah, I used the Ko-Propo with an original RC-10 CE.
Not only an AM transmitter, but a 14 year old AM transmitter with end point adjustment, built in charger, adjustable wheel placement, throttle dead band and a few other bells and whistles.
Phroziac is right, I'm using an Ko-Propo EX-5 AM transmitter and it's much better than the Traxxas OE transmitter. I wish I had the money to get a PCM transmitter though.
Whether you noticed it or not, the reason you get more/less tq from a shorter or taller gearing is due to the mathimatical advantage yielded by said gearing. The motor isn't producing any more or...
Sure there is, there is a direct correlation between the gear ratio shares and driveline shock due to tq multiplication. Since I know a few people run it looser/tighter than the usual 1/4th a turn...
Here's what I used for the rear of mine...
Losi XXX-T Rear A-Arms - Losi A2142
Losi Inner R Hinge pins - Losi A2166
MIP XXXT Truck CVD Bones - MIP 1164
RC10 Outer R Hinge pins - *

You don't have a steel spur as well do you?
Yes, next to a fuel filter it's one of the most important mods.

I usually use a strip of paper about 5-6" long.
How far out are you guys running your slipper? (ratio optional)
As for me I'm running mine out 5/8th's of a turn with a 3.2:1 ratio at the spur.
If I were you I'd sell the charger and the EZ start seperate. That way someone that just wants the charger wouldn't get discouraged in buying something they don't need (larger audience since you'll...

New Pic :)
Thanks for the pointer arceeguy.
If someone's having trouble starting with a pull start they'd have trouble starting with any starter because of an engine that is not tuned right.
About having a flooded engine and damaging...
A Pull-Start had to be the best thing I ever bought for my 2.5. Btw, don't forget you'll also need a glow igniter to go with the pull start. I carry two, a Dynamite Glow Igniter with gauge and a...
I've skated for nearly 16 years now... I ride 7 ply blank decks, Indy 129's, bones extra hard bushings, 47-59mm blank wheels, and Black Panther ABEC 7 bearings.
When I still had the original width I too had problems with the CVD's always popping out of the output drives. Yet ever since I moved to the wide and beefy setup and XXX-NT CVD's, I've yet to have...
