I have a 2nd Gen model 2238(tx) and 2218(rx) I could part with. How does $60 shipped sound?
Still looking.....will entertain offers for both the Tx and Rx.
Looking to buy some of the original 4 channel 2.4 receivers with model #2217.
If you are referring to the first generation 2.4, I believe the receiver number is 2217, and it is a 4 channel receiver (with 2 steering channels).
Provided you buy the correct offset wheels, these will bolt right on.
Ive had real good luck with STRC aluminum bulkheads.
Absolutely! I have alumn. bulks on all my trucks. Provided you stick with plastic arms, the alumn bulk prevents breakage where the arm mounts to the bulkhead.

Is your system a 2.4? Is there any damage to the antenna wire?
Most NiMh and 2s LiPo batteries (5000 mah and under) should fit without the expansion kit. You will need the kit if you go with a 2s LiPo that is greater than 5000 mah, or most 3s batteries.
You could try a little emery cloth to reduce of remove the burr.
All depends on what you hit! LOL!
