Yes, it's normal.
What a total tool. I reported that idiot for excessive shipping.
I would go with the Futaba 3PM. Much, much more versatile than the Traxxas system.
That won't hold at all, but it's worth a try!
That looks like an ugly Kyosho.
I want the Slash 4x4, but I'm not buying until there's a solution to the axle issues. Just seems like too many of them are breaking.
It's interesting, but some things to consider:
That aluminum screen could chafe the insulation on the wires, and if it does, it will instantly short your ESC and/or battery.
Is the extra weight...
Awesome pics. Makes me want to buy a Slash now. I'm kinda waiting for the axle issues to be sorted though.
Looks nice. I think I saw someone else that dyed their chassis black last week. :)
After reading this I think I'm going to wait on buying the 4xr4 Slash. :(
Sounds like you'll have some fun there. Be careful and thank you for keeping us all safe at home. :)
67mph... on frozen grass? How is that possible?
I'm getting a Slash 4x4 too, but there's no way I could part with my Rusty.
When I lived in NY and ran my cars in the snow, I always used a hair dryer to remove the snow. It will instantly melt and dry the car off. Try it!
Nice video. I need to head to my hobby shop tomorrow. I live in FL, so no snow fun for me :(
That looks like so much fun on the snow and ice! Killer!
That's the temp gauge I use and it works great. Your motor may be on the hot side of you can't put your finger on it. Definitely get the ESC fan, it's well worth it.
Don't get too worried about leaking diffs just yet. This issue is common with the Blitz guys too. Just take it apart and look everything over, then reassemble well. Maybe try a thicker diff lube,...
Great mod guys. grecinos, have you been able to report the temps?
That looks cool, but keep in mind it will also keep heat in and cooling air out. Watch your temps.
Actually, nothing yet. I got sidetracked with my other cars for now. But I think I'm going to go for the Jato. :)
All great posts and good info, thanks everyone :)
I love those white bodies, nice!
They will both last as long as you take care of them.
I wouldn't get that radio.
