I think running two 9.6v Batteries on a 16.8v esc you can just about plan on frying it. Especially since fully charged they're quite a bit more than 9.6 each. Your Better off going with a MMM or wait...

Although the cheap battery packs are a good deal for dry land vehicles I think for the Titan's power and just the fact that the packs could get wet you may want to go with MaxAmps Waterproof Lipos
