It's a great engine, ran it for about a year and it always performed great.
Must be nice to be able to recommend O.S. engines without getting warned. Ahh, the luxury of being a moderator.
You sound pretty excited with all those exclamation marks heh.
Might be a lean LSN(low-speed needle). That's the one on the side of the carb. Richen it by turning it counter-clockwise in 1/8 increments.
3.3 chassis is 4mm thick, 2.5 chassis is 3mm thick. 3.3/gray tranny is stronger since the gears are wider and have more surface contact area. The one way bearing in the 3.3 tranny is stronger as...
Just got a huge warning from arceeguy for recommending the O.S. engine over the Traxxas. Apparently being a veteran member and giving accurate, concise information doesn't mean much around here,...
2.5 didn't have optidrive.
Servo might be shot, they're cheap if you want to buy a replacement. Your LHS might have some in stock.
Yea sways are no good for hardcore bashing
Trout y didn't u tell us about these earlier???
Yeah it is worth the $100, no doubt about it.
Sure, with a ton of modification.
75-100, definitely not 175
Here's a good post on these servos, pulled from an rcgroups.com airplane forum:
"I've been checking these servos out and can report the following:
1. they are very torquey -- I haven't measured...
I know a guy who bought the Tower servos. After 6 mos. they're actually still working. I'd say even if they only last 6 mos, it's still worth the money.
They're Widetracs not EXT.
You'll never see a Supermaxx tree
Peter Parker will be in shortly to disprove my statement. Good luck to you sir!
O'Donnell's is great, wish my LHS had it. All they sell is Top Fuel and Blue Thunder Sport. The Top Fuel isn't bad but the Blue Thunder Sport is like the supermarket brand of fuels.
BMX tracks are hard on the Maxx. I'd go with 50-60wt shock oil and for springs, either RC Raven dual rates, Trinity or Integy. There are some other good ones out there but those I know for a fact...
Wow, I'm going to buy some when I'm low on plugs and test em out, what the heck why not.
If the piston head is black and richening the needles doesn't help temps, chances are your engine is toast lol. Contact Traxxas and see what they can do for you. If they're of no help, you'll have...
What do you mean by ported, specifically?
I hear that, 50º days must not be taken for granted
Anyway, I wouldn't go to 30%, 20% is a good place to be. I also wouldn't go w/3.3 Jato. ...
Eh, he does get beat up by u in the video...if his self esteem was really low, he would have put it the other way around.

What did you not buy bearings w/it, or are your bearings not fitting correctly, or what?
