FYI 2x2s parallel is still just 2s...
2x2s series is 4s.
^That's correct, and they really aren't that difficult to do. Takes about 15 seconds to get one open.
I would suggest just buying a set of new carriers along with the 7033x.. its only like 6...
Stock carriers with 7033X
I've got them and they're awesome. And cheap.
Sand paws, or studded dirt paws are good. (youtube the studded dirt paws).
Stock 1/16 summit tires are not too bad.
All of the above are leagues better than dirt hawgs in snow.
I've had a servo strip before, and would be incredibly surprised to find out this is the problem. It's still able to put some force through to the wheels, but it is just very weak. The only noise...
So I got some Pro-Line sand paws yesterday, mounted them up and headed outside in the fresh snow (8-10" this week). All was good for about 2 min and my servo packed up.
I don't think it was...
The only part not waterproof on the MM2 is the fan.....
How can a 1/16 summit have an effective snow plow on it? These things are tiny. I could see a full size summit being kind of effective... pics of the 1/16?
You can't use the 3350 system, its too small for the summit.
What specific HPI motor/esc are we talking about here?
There's also the budget friendly option of a $140 esc/motor combo that can be found.
And for waterproof, there's a new MMP that's...

Shimming your diffs is always a good idea.
Having said that, this problem (if it's the same as mine) has nothing to do with the diffs. Mine are both shimmed and in perfect condition, yet i still...
No question, parallel and 28. Or parallel and 23.
If you're on the stock ESC, it doesn't matter what pinion you have, 4s (2-2s in series) will wreck it. Its got nothing to do with how hard it is...
I'm not sure if this is what OP is talking about but it sounds like a situation that I've run into before. Its not to do with the diff at all as far as I can tell. It clicks once for every rotation...
^Yeah, I recommend buying a 1/10 ERBE if you wanna run 6s.
These little 1/16 cars can't even handle 4s well, the whole platform just isn't made for the power.
I hope when these guys say kwatts they don't mean kilowatts.
An RC car with a 1300kW motor? That's over 1700 horsepower
Similarly, it makes me laugh, but also disappoints me when...
The restricting factor is available traction, not lack of pulling power (especially since he's got dual motors now). No question, high gear has the power to break traction.
The only advantage to...
I'm thinking of ordering one for my Summit, just wondering how long it took to get to you? I'm in Calgary.
As of yet the MMP is still not waterproof, right? I live in canada, where we have winter, so lots of my running ends up being wet...
Interesting, didn't know they would get out of whack. Visiting my parents in Hawaii right now, and we've been doing a ton of crawling over the lava (best terrain ever for this truck) and a little...
Might wanna put the top on and cut some holes in it instead of exposing all the expensive parts to get broken when you cry about having a $20 repair. Just sayin.
The dirt hawgs don't come on rims by default. I got mine, and ordered some HPI rims separate. I would suggest this over getting trenchers. Keep in mind the dirt hawgs are smaller in width and...
Took about 3 minutes to adjust them out of the box last week....didn't seem tough at all?
Don't know what all the fuss is about
I might if that was an e-revo...
Its a Revo 3.3
