Oh man I need some of those, too many lower spring retainers lost while bashing. Turns out a body clip on the shock shaft can let you run a bit longer when you're away from your tools/parts bin.

I was under the impression that a 4pede was essentially a short chassis sl4sh, will the rpm bumper fit? I think it would fit you look, as long as you didn't run the top bash bar.
Nice, looking really mean. Do you run without the front bumper all the time? My truck would be toast if I did that. Haha
Keep ip the good work.
Looks killer. FYI that wing will last through about 10 good crashes. Mine is long gone. Lol.
I wanna see it on the pede.
What's with the counter weight inside of them?
More about this setup? I'm picturing that width with my bug body.
Nice, I was thinking of doing the same on my truck. But my lhs had a nice thin wall 5.5 mm for a couple bucks, and my power tools have been in storage since October.
I keep having issues with the...
Well I decided on my next body. The earlier body chevy truck was my first 1:1 when I was 14, I found the 67-72 chevy body a while back but never knew how it would fit these trucks. I'm guessing about...
Very nice truck. I love the look of the 1/8 buggy wheels on these trucks, I run them as well.
I'm sorry I should have added, I'm running the aka 17mm adapters.
I need to take some photos of my set ups next time I'm not at work.
I like running 1/8 scale wheels with paddles, they seem to hold up much better. On 3s I was doing wheelies in very loose sand.
I only have said parts on the rear of my slash. No issues there, but I haven't broken/upgraded anything up front so I can't help with that portion. Was looking into the same upgrades up front so I'll...
I'll cast another vote for the MIP x duty. Just be sure to use lock tite on the small set screws, and use shrink tube around the slide pins.
That's how I do it. Only upgrade what breaks, as it breaks.
My list of upgrades after a year of bashing, to give you an idea
Alum hub carriers (rear only)
Mip x duty cvd's (rear only)
Rpm front...
I bash, never race. And I haven't lost a single one. I stick a zip tie on each one for a handle, makes em easier to find if dropped.
Bump this thread.
I have been running the rr hardened spur and hardened pinion combo for over a yyear now. Previously I was changing spurs every run. I was running in sand, so that complicates...
Wheels and tires look killer. What's the specs on those?
Sorry if these are a bit big, my buddy took the photos and posted them for me on another forum

Dude thanks so much. I need the first item on that page. Hopefully my LHS will have them.
Upon further googling, I am 90% sure they are the AKA adapters.
I honestly don't. I'd love to say proline because it sounds familiar, but they aren't marked in anyway.
If it helps, they're anodized kinda brown. I know I'm not giving much info, but if I had the...
So I've been beating up my slash for a little over a year now. I've only made a few minor upgrades so far. Robinson hardened steel spur and matching hardened pinion. Mip cvds out back. A bug body,...
