Hitec X-1 is a great and easy to program charger. $70.00 keeps it low in the price range also. You can charge up to 6s lipo but also charge NIMH, NICD, PB batteries and more.

the bigger is far better. It will fit in the battery tray better and allow more playtime per charge.

The mah is basically the runtime. The smaller 2200 batteries will have the same power but only last about half that the 5000 will as far as runtime goes.

A 3s battery is going to be in the $60+ range. Everone has there own belief on what are the best batteries.

you should only run one at a time on the stock electronics. One 5000 mah will last about 20-25 minutes depending on terrain etc.You could only run (2) 3s lipos if you were to have a Castle Creations...

You are only going to want to run a max of 3s on a vxl motor system.
