I'm new too,when you break down shock is there standards for fitting sizes on the shock so you can frankenstein them how you like or are the springs all that interchange?

I'd get ahold of some carter pins and try that if not use good old fashion bailing wire and plyers to tension it down but not too much that you damage anything.With dad my thoughts on that is it...
