Hey All,
I've got a 3906 Traxxas E-Maxx with not a whole lot of time on it. I bought it as a used unit for my daughter to run, but she quickly lost interest. It has upgraded RPM bumpers front...

servo saver what? I got tired of breaking them so I put a Hitec 5955 titanium gear servo on for my steering. It seems to be holding up to the punishment so far and it's SOOOOOO much more precise...
The biggest thing with soldering is to make sure everything is very clean...and be sure to use enough heat. I finally figured that out after struggling with soldering for years. I've now got it...

Hey all,
I purchased a used Pede off of RCU...and man oh man what a mistake it was. It's supposed to be fully VXL upgraded...but anymore I can't make heads or tails of this thing.

Well......here's the conclusion so far.

Kershaw Designs also chimed in with some info.
It's pulling the air into the body, down across the motor, ESC and batts. The next one I do I"ll take a little more time cutting it out....this was pretty much a hack job\beater body to see how well...
My temps were only 150 on the motor, and 130 on the ESC. So...not much extra cooling is needed. It's more insurance in this case. I'm rebuilding my packs tonight....so hopefully I'll be able to...
I've done the water cooling rig on my pc before....not putting it anywhere near my truck.....now active cooling via peltier......that may be possible.....but it's gonna take very very big packs to...
Hey all,
So I went against what most everyone says and tried a single VXL powered 3906 even though most say it won't work. I was more than pleased with the power and speed I was getting with just...
