I've not tried long rods but think it would be possible. As for the bumper, I'm currently using some polymorph to hold together mine whilst I wait for a RPM replacement. It has stood up to several...
Voltage for the nimh battery jus cycles 9.64V, the other sitting at 9.24V
going to try and cycle the nimh and see what happens. Willl check the voltage tomorrow.
Hi guys, hoping someone can help.
I alternate between lipo and the stock nimh batteries, normally I run the lipo (with LVD activated) until the speed drops to 50% when the low voltage cuts in,...
When it cools it says it's as hard as nylon, it's reusable too. I'm not connected with the company in any way but I think it's a great products for us folk who break stuff
I've not been posting much since I got my summit, I've been out enjoying myself way too much. I had previously broken the front bumper mount but have made do with some tie wraps. All was going well...
Flashing Red and Green: The EVX-2 has entered Over Voltage Protection.
If a battery with too high voltage (over 14.8 volts) is used, the EVX-2 will
go into a failsafe mode.
Taken from...
From what I've experienced, flashing green/red is the low voltage trigger has been activated and it needs full power to be able to switch it off. You'll need to connect a couple of Lipo batteries to...
It's a local park on the south side of Glasgow, still within the city limits!
erm no, forgot to take the pictures until after I took the servo off, at that time it was too late. Good suggestion though.
I contacted the retailer I bought it from, I need to send the servo back for them to have a look at it. What a job getting the servo out! At least I know how to take the motor off, the receiver box...
I got an email back from Traxxas support and I'm a bit disappointed. As I'm not in the U.S the suggestion is "Please contact the local hobby shop where you purchased the vehicle and see if they can...
If it's any help to you, I just got a summit and bought 2 Lipo batteries 6000mah, 25c and it seems to work fine, about an hour or so run time out of them. Just remember and set the ESC to low voltage...
Disconnecting from the receiver might be a good idea, I have already removed servo horn for manual transmission mean time. About to ask what channel it was on but thought that's a bit lazy, check my...
2 things are now not working, the first is the 2 right hand LEDS on the front, no big deal I sort of had an accident at the skate park and the front bumper took quite a hit. Not too upset at that as...
I have a confession to make, LiPo batteries arrived before the summit did so they were all charged up and ready to go by the time the summit did evetually show up. I popped the LiPos in and went to...
Another one http://i870.photobucket.com/albums/ab263/stufft/20120717_163034.jpg
Well it finally arrived and I went off out to play in the woods where I learned a few things:
Trees jump out at you
If you think the battery will last an hour, don't walk for 40 minutes before...
Postie arrived  but only had the spare batteries and my new charger
LiPos on to charge now, still waiting for the summit to arrive, arghh I can't stand waiting.
I think I might have to buy a clear shell and try my hand at painting a yellow one. Listen to me, I'm customising my summit already and the postman still has to show up with it.
LOL, I don't want another colour war starting out here. After reading all the posts, I KNOW the green ones are the best!
I went for the green one although I would have preferred one of the old style yellow bodies.
Pics will be posted, terrain of sorts is relatively nearby but I'm looking all the time for new spots. I also ordered a pair of 6000mah LiPo batteries to give a bit of extra run time.
I've read through the majority of the threads on all 168 pages and think I have a good idea what the summit is all about so I've taken the plunge and ordered one. (late birthday present to myself)....
TRX stop it now now, I need less options not more!
