I know nobody wants to hear it, but you might have to tone that Tekin beast down a bit. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/02/07/e8e4aher.jpg

The issue I see with the diff is that one output shaft has a hole drilled through it to work with the locker system.. It looks like a real weak point.. Also the huge grippy tires coupled with huge...

I know I read on RcCrawler, a thread about getting rid of the slop. The fella had the summit Trans in his scaler truck, but the mod still does the same thing. It took some Dremmel work and only he...

I revived an old 5000mah 8.4 hump pack ( it was a venom pack if I remember right.) anyway.

I have a 25watt fog...

I might be missing something, but if you're talking about the same tech5 wheels as I have seen, they have less offset. Compared to the stock wheels, the 5's have almost 1/2" per side less offset....
Slipper is pretty good.. Installed stock setup and it stands up when you punch the throttle.. slips a bit when in a bind. I took the cover off and watched the slipper as I made it climb a wall..

That would be awesome. thanks.. Iam really hoping I dont have a bummed out MMM/2200
My mistake,, sorry..
I meant a Series Connector. So It was 4S
Yesterday I tried 4S in my summit. Got my parallel ( EDIT SERIES ) connector and stuck in my 2 5400 50C 2S hardcase lpos.
Dissapointed !
Fast yes, sluggish getting to top speed though.
its like...
For me, it wasn't the slow that bothered me, it's the fact that it is totally gutless. I expected way more torque and just less speed.. I made a monster truck out of my slash 4x4 and ran 5.5" tall...
Thanks fellas..
I was hoping I would have a 10400mah 2s summit..
I was running 14/68 gearing and its plenty fast for me on top,, just slow on bottom.
I'll just hook er up 4s and deal with less...
I'm not talking about 2 x 2s making 14.8v... I mean 2 x 2s in parallel making one big 2s lipo ?
I have 2 5400 2s Lipos and tried them in a new to me summit with a MMM/200 in it. I tried running it...
I have bought all sorts of different size spurs from Kimbrough in both 32 and 48 pitch for my rock crawlers and trail trucks. The spurs I bought have dozens of mounting holes to fit a plethora of...
Try Radio shack or " the source" as its called in Canada.. They have boxes called "project boxes". Come in all sorts of sizes.. The ones I use on my Axial Honcho are 1" deep and about 2" wide by 3"...
The MMM/2200 will run 28mph on just a single 3cell lipo. and 18/68 gearing with stock tires (adding in .5" tire ballooning) I run 2 3300 2S lipos for a total of 6600 3S.
It rans a bit faster than...
I bought one for a Slash 4x4 a while back.. Works great when you finally get the velcro to stick to the chassis.. the key is cleaning well.. the years of WD40 must have sunk intothe plastic. there...

The castle ESC's are known to have a week internal BEC.. I've heard of glitching with the castle ESC's and the fix being a "glitch buster" or an external BEC.. I was running a castle 10amp BEC and...
If you want walking speed full throttle than a 4000kv motor is Not what you want . It be as run as a barrel of monkeys, but not a crawler. A 21.5t Novak ballistic sensored motor would be closer.. You...
