I run the ******* 2200 2s (parallel, not series), they seem to work well. That is, they manage to strip something on each run, so I guess they're "sufficiently powerful" ;o)
Looks like fun - I guess you'll be replacing those rears soon ;o)
Is there a specific reason you strap the lipo to the wing - is it to promote wheelies, or stop the rear hopping around, or just...
Nice. I like what you've done with the battery connectors there - did you make those y-connectors yourself or buy them? 4mm standard by the looks of them?
Cheers guys :o)
Yeah, just watched your video - mine is doing the exact same thing.
I guess I'll send it to Traxxas....
Thanks - the servo seems to be the only thing that's functioning correctly, so I'd be surprised if that was the problem, but I'll give that a try.
Apologies for the double-post, btw ..

So, I was running my Merv/Summit the other day on parallel 2s lipos.
All was well, until it decided to slow down and stop.

I'm gonna try 16/55 in an effort to rip through less driveshafts ;o)

Aaahhhh! Thank you sensei ;o)
So I just pull them off with pliers then, I guess?
Cool! Think I'm gonna wait until I've got some spare diff oil for the diffs, as it seems to be the done thing to...
Hi, I may be being an absolute noob here, but I'm struggling to undo the hex nuts that the wheels join onto (I want to replace the shafts with CVDs).

Hi thecoolman, would that be part number 4628x? That would fit the 1/16th MERV, would it?
If so, then that's an awesome plan, as that's the part which keeps popping on my Summit/Merv...
Cheers...
@Maus - yeah, I thought they looked a bit more sturdy than the usual Integy fare. Might have to buy them to try them ;o)
Will post what I think when I get them.
Have just ordered - I'm ion the...
