Anyone ever run the Road Rage by Proline?
How does oversize tires affect the E-Maxx? Stress on driveshafts, gears, etc...........
I am trying to learn how to work this charger, I am not sure as to what voltage they are currently at, just wanted to discharge them and recharge them back up.
I am trying to discharge both 3s batteries at the same time and I do have the 3s adapter. Can you discharge both batteries at the same time?
Once I discharge, how long should I wait before I charge back full or put them in storage mode?
Yes they do drift, and compared to the stock wheels biting and causing the E-Maxx to flip, I rather drift out of an almost flip then grab, bite, and roll.... The stocks are great for the grass and...
You can hear the difference in less resistance from the Phaltlines to the stock grips when running on the street. The Phaltlines are much more quieter! Also I would say its less work on the batteries...
If I would have seen the Black, I would have jumped on that! Do you have a part number or did you paint them?
Batteries are brand new. I tightened it 1 half turn. It was slipping a little.
This is the truck that I was going to swap ESC and run lipo's in, but went ahead and purchased a 3908L package instead. This truck is very lightly used and is in awesome condition. It was for my...
How tight will it go? will it stop completely? I have it set to where the front tires come off the ground a few inches and thats it. Wont flip backwards or wheelie out of control.
I use the Traxxas Lipo's and i have zero complaints!
I may have mines too tight, I will back off a half turn!
You will need a thin wall socket to do the swap.
I find with the Phaltlines, the tires spin on takeoff if I nail it. So I think with the slipper set where it is, I should be fine.
Traxxas Blue EZ Charger landed today.
I love them the more I drive them. I pretty much broke them in and they are my favorite so far. They corner well, slide well when I lock the brakes up and I like the way they fishtail out of a turn...
Craftsman makes a thin wall set, works perfect on the HPI wheels.
Traxxas told me that I can fully charge them and not touch them for up too 2 weeks on the shelf. As long as I dont leave them in the truck or plugged into the truck, they will be fine for up too 2...
Do I have to run the batteries all the way to the low voltage shut off? What happens if I would just put them on the charger in the morning from the point they are at? Would I ruin them?
I charged the Traxxas 11.1v 5000mah batteries with the Traxxas 2-cell/3-cell Lipo Balance Charger Friday night and I drove the truck 20-30 minutes Saturday and Today and they still haven't shut down....
Guys I bought a set of the HPI Phaltlines mounted on Blast Chrome Wheels. I have some flat spots in the factory wheels and the truck was hopping all over so I went to Sears this morning and purchased...
You tighten all the way then back off as well?
I bought a set of the Phaltlines with the chrome Blast wheels and the tire wrench that Traxxas gives you cannot fit inside of the wheels. I know people swap wheels, what do they use to tighten them?
Uncontrollable, I agree. Esp coming from a 3906 on NIMH!
