I have had the trenchers for about 4 months and love them. Very versatile on pavement and grass, but its main meal is dirt. They looove loose dirt. You won't be sorry if you get trenchers! Good luck...

I have 2.8 proline trenchers on all four corners and have never had any issues. They do great on grass, dirt, and asphalt. Price
isn't too bad either.

My bone stock slash 4x4 does the same thing on concrete. I know how maddening it can be.

I bought a slash 4x4 a few months ago and LOVE IT. It is virtually indestructible with rpm parts. The brushless version is around $380 I think.

I have trenchers and love them. I've had them since Christmas and they still have tons of tread. They've been run hard on pavement, grass, gravel and dirt and do well in all of it.

I forgot to mention my battery is a duratrax brand. I've also heard good things about promatch but don't have any experience.

Do you want to go lipo or nimh? I personally have never gone to the dark side (lipo) and run a 9.6 v 5000mah nimh battery in my xl5 rusty. I get about 20-25 minutes of hard run time on that pack.

Rpm does make mud flaps for slash FYI.
